(Alexander The God of absolute powers pov)
I hated how my sister never seen how special she was. She helped so much with Mazaya that she was beyond valuable. "You are a lot of help. Just tell us when they are close." I praised her as I gave her a kiss on the head. "Ugh why do you always have to ruin a moment by being all mushy." She whined causing me to smile.
"Okay enough of the brother and sister love. I don't plan on being food. So let's go." Tod said as he walked forward. "Yes lead the way so when something attacks you we can prepare." Aries joked making Todd stop and give Aries a push. "You are the soldier. Go clear the area." Tod ordered causing Aries to stop.
With a swipe of his hand, Aries had Todd flying through the air and landing right in front of the temple, sliding through the sand. Zavier was dying laugh, along with everyone else, while I may have chuckled alittle. I was more interested in observing. As soon as Tod got angrily up a giant scorpion type bug came out the ground and attacked him.
"Shit." Aries said. Yes shit was right the thing was huge and it was trying to basically squash Tod with it's stinger. As I looked around I noticed little holes that were all around. It was like as soon as the scorpion got up the holes went to rabbit size. As I looked around I seen at least 100 holes.
"Either this scorpion comes up to the ground level a lot or it has a lot of friends." I stated my observation getting everyone to stop laughing. Looking back at Todd we watched as he tried to fight the scorpion. After multiple failed attempts it turnt around giving Tod the opportunity to cut it in half. For a second I was feeling good. That's until a dozen scorpions came out from hiding.
"Fuck let's see if we can fight them off with him. Stay back her and watch. I don't want to take all day rewinding and knowing Tod he most likely won't try to help next time after what I did." Aries order right before I could give my order. Great minds think alike.
"Let's go." I ordered having all of us teleport down to help. "It took you long enough." Tod gritted out as he used his sword to block the stinger of a scorpion. "You look like you had it covered." Aries yelled as he used his sword to send fire at the scorpions. Causing them all to burn. They died easily.
Conjuring up my magic I sent fire to all scorpions making the fire wrap around them. We watched as they basically cooked within seconds. "That was easy but I feel way more." Chasity said right as we felt the ground start to shake like a earth quake. Hundreds of baby scorpions came up along with a few huge ones. "Fuck." I gritted out. Without thinking I used my magic and burnt them all again
It seemed to have worked but than there was more shaking. "Chasity bring out something that its afraid of. They won't stop. I think there may be thousands of them and I don't want to risk someone dying just to have to reset." I ordered. She got into action right away within seconds there were huge centipedes and owls crawling and flying around.
The few scorpions that made their way up from under ground were retreated and going back underground. "See your powers are important. That's why I had you come. You may not see it but I do. Now let's go before something else appears." I yelled as I looked at Meridith and gave her the thumbs up.
As soon as she was by us we were walking to the temples door. "Fuck let's hope there's nothing else in here. I'm definitely opting out of the next adventure. I've had enough for a life time." Tod complained causing me to smirk. Like he had a choice.
"Actually it will be us 7 every time. You don't really have a choice." I declared causing Tod to groan like the childish adult he was. I would think him and Mazaya were siblings with how similar they were. "Great another thing to put on things I've done that I have not been happy about. The list is long thanks to you." Tod over dramatically groaned out.
"It's fine buddy. I'll let you know when how you'll die in the next adventure so you can be prepared." Zavier joked out. "You better not I swear I." Todd was interrupted by me putting my hand up. "I guarantee there are traps in this temple. Not your mortal traps so please keep a look out. We don't know what is in here and the effects it will have." I stated while looked around as we walked forward.
"Fuck put these on fast." Zavier was saying as he handed us magical face masks. Instantly we were all putting them on. "You know Meridith didn't need one right." Tod said making Zavier smack him upside his head.
"Yes she did whatever this is can go through protective barriers. Meridith there's a chance that the protection won't work In here. So you need to stay in between us. Well die first. Your job is to pay attention. the moment you hear something rewind. The moment you see something rewind. Don't wait. The only thing you don't have to worry about is smell. Someone. always needs to be looking at the ceiling. Yell if you see something so Meridith can rewind." Zavier said his voice full of fear.
Okay this was serious if Zavier was basically saying that rewind no matter what. Instantly I grabbed Meridith causing her to shriek. "I can't die so I'll hold you. If something comes at us I'll use my body as a barrier. Hopefully giving you enough time to go back in time. Don't hesitate. I don't care if we are basically at the end. You will always go back to the beginning, because I don't need you to freak out and go back a few seconds in time and you end up getting killed by something we already passed." I ordered. We were Gods we had all the time as long as we lived.
