A Weak Body Means Bad Health

When Lu Fang Xiu and Fu Shun walk through the palace everyone greets them and looks worried at their princess.

Lu Fang Xiu didn't go out of her palace often and when she did it was either to visit her father or her siblings.

Her carriage was always closed and the curtains were always down. Her palace was called Àomì palace. No one could enter unless you were from the imperial family.

* All the palaces has a name. Lu Fang Xiu's palace is named Àomì palace.

It is a beautiful palace and really mystic since no one can enter. The citizens only knew that sometimes a song would be played from the Àomì palace.

«Your Highness, remember to hide your face with this.» Fu Shun gives her a light blue veil. She put it on her face and nod to him. Fu Shun nod to the guards.

They open the door and a carriage wait for them outside. Fu Shun supports Lu Fang Xiu to the carriage. He just hopes the emperor won't kill him for bringing her in this state.

Lu Fang Xiu sit down in the carriage and lean to the side. She peeks out and sees the buildings. Fu Shun stares at Lu Fang Xiu and wonders what had happened to the princess.

She couldn't change so much. «Shun'er. It isn't nice to stare.» There was a playful tone and Fu Shun quickly looked away. "So she hasn't changed that much."

The princess had always liked to tease and play. Her health was the only thing that stopped her. It was her weakness. She would always smile, but when someone mentioned her health she would have a sad smile.

Soon they were at the imperial palace. Fu Shun helps Lu Fang Xiu down and support her on their way in. She isn't as unstable as she was at the Àomì palace.

When the guards saw who it was they bowed and opened the gates. Lu Fang Xiu knew exactly where to go. Even without the sense of direction.

She tries to walk without support and is stable enough to walk alone. Fu Shun still walks close to her in case she would fall.

Not too long, they come to the big doors that lead to the grand meeting room. The guards outside saw Lu Fang Xiu and walked in, to tell the emperor.

At the court, the emperor and the officials were having a discussion about the money problem in the smaller cities. They hadn't anything to earn money from.

The emperor was tired of the discussion and began to get a headache. Then a guard walked in the door.

«Princess Yating Xiulan is asking for permission to enter.» Lu Gang Qiang's mood lifted immediately but also got extremely worried. «Let her in!»

The doors open and Lu Fang Xiu walk slowly in without taking her veil off. She had gotten a strict message to never take off her veil in public.

Fu Shun made sure she didn't trip or fall. «Xiu'er what are you doing here? You should be resting.» Lu Fang Xiu's skin was pale but still incredibly smooth and fair.

«Father I am fine now. I have gotten all the poison out of my body.» She bows weakly. The ministers and officials knew how much the emperor and people from the imperial family loved and doted the young princess. She was the only one allowed to call him father and not imperial father.

Lu Gang Qiang look surprised at his daughter. She had gotten out all the poison in her body? «Who did it?»

Lu Fang Xiu's skin begins to get a little paler and Fu Shun walked closer to support her when she began to wobble. When she stabilized she answered. «I did.»

Lu Fang Xiu disliked that this body was so weak. She was going to get her original strength back. And she would do it quick.

«Father, can I begin to attend the school like my elder brothers and sisters?» Lu Gang Qiang frowned a little looking at his weak daughter but knew she was lonely even when she was surrounded by family and servants.

He smiles and nods. «Fine Xiu'er, but only when your health has gone back to normal and you have to take Fu Shun and Kun Ju with you.»

Lu Fang Xiu smile behind the veil and nod. Then she curtsies and walks out being supported by Fu Shun. Lu Gang Qiang look at the court. «Shall we continue?»

On their way back to Àomì palace, Lu Fang Xiu ordered Fu Shun to buy her 1000 silver acupuncture needles, some cultivation, and her books.

If she was going to survive in this world she needed to know if the herbs were the same as in her past world or if their different and learn how to cultivate. Fu Shun just nodded and did what he was told when they got to the palace.

Lu Fang Xiu didn't know if she had any powers or magic, and neither did she care. She still had her intelligence, wisdom, and experience from her past life as an assassin and doctor, but if she was going to survive here she needed to know everything. And her soul-friend had still not woken up.

Lu Fang Xiu is standing on her balcony staring at the horizon, her hair softly blowing in the wind. Lu Fang Xiu haven't used any of her musical talents yet and decide to sing.

What Lu Fang Xiu didn't know, was that the whole city and palace could hear her voice. The wind was spreading her song to the ears of the citizens. They all wondered where the voice came from. The song was printed in the head of many and soon they began to hum it.

«Your Highness. I've found the books you wanted...» When Fu Shun walked in Lu Fang Xiu turned around. He knew about her godly beauty, but couldn't stop being in a daze every now and then. He had been the princess's servant since young and was one of the two people the emperor trusted with his precious daughter's safety.

«Thank you, Shun'er.» Lu Fang Xiu knew she could trust him, and that's also why she is herself with him. When Fu Shun was about to leave Lu Fang Xiu stops him. «Wait.» Fu Shun stops and turns around. «Is something the matter your highness?» Lu Fang Xiu shake her head. «No, but do you know a way to hide my face with ordinary looks?» Fu Shun thinks for a while.

«I know one way, but it has a fault. Is that okay?» Lu Fang Xiu nod. «It is a spell that makes your face ordinary and you can take it away anytime you want.
