The silver haired girl now watched Luke's every motion with extreme caution as her heart began to race.

The devil in elven form before her was smirking viciously as he brandished the sword in his hands with a wide grin on his face.

She had just stumbled upon a true monster this time! Not only was he unnaturally strong, he was also very cold, and unreasonable!

Where is the young and naive elven prince she was supposed to eliminate? That snake had landed her in trouble this time!

Luke lifted his sword up in boredom before bringing it down horizontally, splitting the heavens and earth as it cleaved it's way towards it's target ferociously.

The silver haired girl reacted fairly quickly, she immediately dashed to the side. She watched as the seemingly weak slash from Lucas cut down a couple of trees in halves before finally dissipating a good distance away.

"Holy! Okay I'll talk, I'll talk!" The silver haired girl screamed out loud out from fright after witnessing the devastating power of the 'weak' attack.

"Start with names, then reasons." Luke's sentence was blunt, but his tone was cold as he ran his fingers along the blade of his sword.

"My name is Lisa, I was sent by the Dragon God to eliminate you, because you have become a liability to his tyrannical rule over the races." The silver haired girl spewed out everything she knew without holding back even an ounce of information.

That snake! He dares put me in this position and will expect me to keep his useless secret? He should just go f**k himself!

Luke was dumbfounded. He was being a liability to the serpent's tyrannical rule? PWHAHAHA! Who does that snake think he is?

'Was this related to my assassination in my first life? I didn't even know if the dragon god existed at that time, how could I have been a threat to him?' Luke thought as he subconsciously clenched his fists.

"Cough cough, can I go now? Please, I swear you'll never see me again!" Lisa pleaded in fright. She was nothing without her incredible attack strength. With her abilities taken by the elf's steel-like defence, she just wanted to cry out blood...

Did she run into an Elven Diamond Saint?

(A/N: Diamond Saints are a particular type of warriors who lean unto the path of ultimate defence. They are incredibly tough and impervious to even a godly assassination technique.)

"Do you know any human 'target' by the name Lucas from the past?" Lucas asked as his eyes turned sharp with his countenance ice cold.

"Yes yes, That sna- <The Dragon God> had asked me, the greatest human assassin to finish off the human child, but I didn't see anything wrong with the poor boy so I rejected, so he sent a Phantom Assassin instead." Lisa nodded furiously as she explained to Luke without holding back.

(A/N: I think I'll write a glossary for all these fictional occupations. Anyways, a Phantom Assassin is a type of assassinator who is adept in the shadow element.)

"Do you know the name of the Phantom Assassin?" Luke asked as his eyes flickered in a strange brilliance. If only he could find the b*tch that killed him in his past life.

"I don't know her name, but I do know that she is closely related to the <Dark Race>. A colleague even speculated that she could be a dark elf." Lisa said honestly as she lowered her head, steeling her resolve for what's about to come.

"Yawn, I'm extremely tired now after all these boring investigations. Just tell that snake that the elven prince has ascended, and the next time I see him... He's dead." Luke flashed a vicious grin at Lisa before taking steps into the darkness.

Suddenly, a large dark mist wrapped around Luke, consuming his figure without leaving a trace. Soon after, beads of sweat could be seen dripping down Lisa's head as she finally heaved a heavy sigh.

She lived! That handsome elf, don't worry I'll definitely disappear after delivering your message to that useless prick!

Lisa wanted to blow a kiss in Luke's direction to thank him for his extreme kindness. She was tricked into fighting a monster by that snake so she'll return the favour ten- no, a hundred fold!

How does: "Luke was extremely injured before escaping from my grasp, rally your troops and strike him when he's down! Leave your Gemini behind, that'll be overkill."

MWAHAHAHAHA~

Lucas who was nimbly dashing across trees promptly halted his advance, as he felt a familiar aura under the darkness of his eternal night.

That B*stard!

Luke who had discovered the creature he was first tracking before suddenly sprinted in that direction without even hesitating.

He had only caught glimpses of it before it disappeared a few times before. He had almost caught up to it, but Lisa had to ruin the opportunity.

He was in a relatively good mood so he mentally tortured her before squeezing out information from her and using her to draw out his enemies!

Kindness? My kindness got me killed before! I won't let anyone who opposes me live, even the dragon god!

I'll make sure I trample on the faces of all my enemies, no one will be left standing!

Luke heard the faint breathing so he instantly hid inside the branches of the tree he was hanging on to.

Down below the tree was a feminine humaniod creature with a metallic skin glowing in a silver lustre with huge metallic wings which were folded, a metallic tail, two sharp metallic claws and a beautiful metal face with two glowing red eyes.

"Holy sh*t, what the f**k is a dimensional creature of this magnitude doing here? And why the hell was it checking us out?" Luke said with a frown as he observed the creature.

"Low-life being, please. I don't want to cause trouble so leave me be." The creature spoke in a soft metallic voice without turning around as she let out a sigh.

"..."

Luke was left speechless.
