"So you are telling me that the main reason why humans normally lose to monsters is that humans aren't good at close combat? How did you know this?", Jim asked bewildered.

"Yes. The main reason why humans are losing the war against the monsters is that most human mages don't know how to fight at a close distance. If humans knew how to do that, with their current powerful elements, they could easily win the war. On top of all that, He had blue wings that glowed with lightning attached to his back. He was currently fighting Drey who also had two pieces of black lightning attached to his back in the sky!

However, even with all of Jim's currently armour, he was still at the disadvantage. Even though he had his imagination as his power, it was almost impossible to block all of Drey's constant attacks.

Drey's constant attacks made it so that Jim couldn't even think. This also meant Jim couldn't also use his imagination and gradually, his disadvantaged position became clearer and clearer until...

A loud shout came from the sky as a body could be seen falling from the sky. The armour and wings began to fade away from the body.

The body was quickly being followed by a middle-aged man who had blue armour with black wings attached to it. The middle-aged man caught the body and landed slowly. After that, he placed the body down on the floor. As for who these two people were, they were naturally Drey and Jim.

"You used a lot of spirit power. Why did you do that?", Drey said emotionally as he looked at Jim. "Because you told me to never give up. And I thought I could gain an advantage. But it turns out that you are too strong!", Jim said.

" Oh, so you want to die! Why didn't you tell me? I would be happy to help!" Drey said to Jim as he walked toward him with a creepy smile on his face.

"No! No! No! I was just playing foolish", Jim said with a shameless smile. "Hahahaha! See how you made your face! You are so scared. Hahahaha!", Drey said to Jim as he turned and began to walk away.

"Oh come on!", Jim said in total displeasure as he sat down and closed his eyes to cultivate and regain his spirit power.
