CHAPTER 8: The Book.

Sebastian walked towards the men the he had searched for. Three old men sat beside the city's play ground. A chess table in front of them three, the man with brown hair grinned at the other two.

"And I strike once more"

The other two released a sigh, "Oh, look" the brown haired man smiled and said, the other two looked.

Sebastian approached them with a sigh.

"I thought I would never see you again" The man who seemed the eldest said. Sebastian sat opposite them.

" I guess you found the seer" The black haired said and Seb nodded.

"What's wrong?" The brown haired asked.

Seb looked at them, unsure...

"Do you remember what I first asked for when we met?"

The black haired nodded for the others, "Resurrection?"

"And you told me my only chance was the seer," Seb paused, his lips curving up in a disappointed smile. "But she says she has no idea about it."

"Then find the book" Brown haired spoke and immediately regretted it.

"The book?" Seb arched a brow... They never mentioned any book before.

Brown sighed softly with a funny smile as he raised his head towards the eldest who was already giving him a hard glare.

Sebastian understood Abit as he drawled his eyes to the eldest. "Please. I know there's something you know. I can't give up on this. I can't."

They starred at him. The eldest breathed out and spoke.. " Cape hall town. The forest near the sea." He looked at the black haired and the black haired brought a bag that was under the table, he put his hand in it and brought out a key out...

"Here. Only one building stands in those woods, this is the key to the house. A book lays on the table in the sitting room. With that book, she can help your petitions come true."

Sebastian slowly collected the key and starred at the man.

"I'm not sure if it'll all go as planned. For you might have to sacrifice something."

"What exactly?" Seb looked up from the key to the man.

"It depends." He shrugged. "But I hope you don't regret any of this."

"I won't" Sebastian said sounding sure.

The man nodded, "Good luck then."

Sebastian nodded slowly and sighed, "Thank you.." He stood and gave a warm smile as he turned and left.

"Why didn't you tell him the consequences?" Black haired asked.

"When you mentioned the book why didn't you think about the consequences." The elder said.

Black haired sighed in realization.

The elder sighed out as he starred at the chess table. " Besides, we've helped him enough, let's let him figure that out alone" He said and the two nodded in understanding.

... .... .....

Alex sighed as he starred at Sebastian's body. He stood and turned to leave when his phone pinged. He checked the message...

'when should we meet?'

He typed back, 'Tomorrow night'

He looked up and froze...

"Hey," His best friend's ghost whispered softly with a cheesy smile.

"I knew I would find you here." He added.

Alex stood still... He blinked once... twice.. to be sure.

"I'm seeing things right now.."

Sebastian Chuckled softly.

"Hey. Does this look like something fake?"

Alex breathed out and shook his head.. He slowly turned to the bed behind him- The body was still there. He looked back at the ghost.

"Seb..?'

"Yeah, It's me"

Alex smiled Abit.. "Unbelievable. How is this possible?"

"Quite a long story. But I promise to tell you when I have the chance."

"Oh my God.. I'm actually talking to you." Alex whispered and smiled more.

Sebastian Smiled back. " I had to do this to give you a message-"

"Wait.. are you dead?"

"No. But if I'm not fast enough I might die."

"What do I have to do?"

Sebastian smiled softly..

"Francis has bribed the board members. Only Mrs Lou and Mr Ganile are against it. I have some files I prepared before the accident. Use it against Francis."

"What does the file contain?"

Sebastian gave a knowing smile.

"You'll find out soon enough."

Alex frowned. " Seb?.."

"Ask Vione for the key I gave her a year ago. you'll know where the key belongs to when you see it."

Alex sighed. "Won't she ask questions?"

"She won't"

Alex sighed again. "When will I see you again?"

"I don't know, you will."

Alex nodded. "Please be careful."

"Of course. And you too, my uncle has eyes on you and Vione. Also... don't Vione about our meeting.. Not everyone can take seeing a ghost."

Alex nodded and smiled.

Sebastian disappeared.

Slowly....

A week passed.

Nichole got accepted as she had expected. She was very overwhelmed and glad. She made sure nothing distracted from her new job and Luka made things better. She always helped out with the the coffee shop. Grandma Pamella left that week to visit some old pal in San Francisco.

Nichole sighed as she sat Infront of her mirror. Brushing her wet hair, she had taken her bath for the night. It was almost the morning of Saturday. She had quite a number dead people that day and she was really extremely tired. She paused as she starred at her mirror.. Through the mirror her eyes caught a glimpse of something or someone.

She immediately stood and turned to face her bed. She almost screamed..

"Hey, Nichole."

Nichole's eyes widened.. She fuckin' wasn't expecting him to come.

It's been more than three years. Fuckin' years..

Her heart leaped. It was like a strange thing to her at this moment.

"Kelvin.." She muttered softly but he heard her anyways.

"It's been Soo long right?" He said, his deep voice echoing in her ears. Making her shiver in her heart.

He walked to her.. Slowly. Taking in her new look and smirking at her distant eyes. He knew she was thinking of what to say, do. Or even....

"You've changed beautiful, looking more breathtaking" He said as he stood Infront of her...His breath softly touching her face. Her eyes looked up to his.

He was giving her those feelings again, those feelings she forced her self to forget.

"Sexy..." He whispered.

"Kelvin.." She forced a voice yet it faltered.

His hands rubbed her arms softly as he dragged them to her face.

"I missed you" He said and she was mute. Her heart screeching to a halt.

"Nichole.."

He called again.

Her heart screamed.. Stop, fucking calling my name.!!.. Or...

He leaned closer, "Nichole.." his breath on her lips.

Or I'll faint.

Her eyes closed. She was closing her eyes for him, for him kelvin.
