Chapter 5

 As soon as 9:00 AM the following morning, Dafeles team already arrived in Rhode Island. They had taking off as soon as 7:00 that morning and they had a smooth and free flight from Los Angeles.

 By the time their chopper landed in G.I.A.C.A Heliport, Doctor Barry was already awaiting them with a number of friends and security agents. The Chopper exit opened and Dafeles alighted with his team as Doctor Barry and the others cheered in jubilation.

 "I know you could do it and you surely made me proud, guys",Doctor Barry congratulated them as he hugged each of them.

 "We couldn't have been successful without you. You're our backbone" Dafeles complimented Doctor Barry.

 "Oh Dafeles, come on" Doctor Barry said as he led them to the awaiting convoy.

 The convoy moved as soon as the team moved in. It was meant to convey each members to their various residents in G.I.A.C.A territory. Soon after, few members had alighted. They made it to the apartment where he alighted with his baggage and the convoy zoomed off.

Rhode Island.

 Later, He left his apartment and took a G.I.A.C.A cab to the nearest restaurant to have his meal. By the time they arrived there, there were many vacant tables which means not all G.I.A.C.A members are back from their first mission. Dafeles was about to take one of the empty seats when they saw his newly made friends who occupied a table set and were discussing while having their meals.

 Dafeles walked up to them and joined them while his orders were taken and brought almost immediately. Remember that he just makes a set of him in this same restaurant on the day of the first teams meeting as he joined in their discussion.

 "Hey Dafeles, did you just return?" Alistair, The first Guy asked.

 " Yeah, today and you guys?" Dafeles replied.

 "We just returned yesterday and our mission wasn't a kid's play, you know", Replied Alyssa. "I couldn't believe we could finish such a mission smoothly."

 "Me too, but probably God was on our side", said Anna.

 " How did your mission go?" Dafeles was asked by the other guy, Bob.

 "We succeeded, Although it wasn't a kids play as well. Taking down the dark force terrorists as they were called is not easy, man."

 " Yours is even tougher. Ours was just a smooth one, discovering the cause of the spread of a pandemic disease in Cuba before it goes global and taking it down", Alistair explained.

 There was the loud sound of a flying helicopter hovering pass the restaurant roof top.

 "I can bet those are some G.I.A.C.A members returning from their missions", said Bob.

 " You are right, most teams are already concluding their mission and soon the second mission will be beginning" Alicia furthered.

 Just immediately Asher walked into the restaurant and Dafeles gestured to him to join them on their table.

 Asher immediately joined them and was given his orders. Dafeles introduced Asher to them and vice versa. They discussed on and on, joking, chilling, and having a nice time.

 " Welcome back guys. I would love to wish you an extraordinary congratulations on your first mission. Because it was a great success. Once again, Bravo" Doctor Barry congratulated the team members in their second meeting which falls in the last week of January 2023.

 The team members already sat down in the conference like meeting. Like every other teams, they are to begin their second mission the first day of that week they presently in. Some helicopters could be heard already taking their flights out on the very first day, but Dr. Barry didn't support that, saying they wouldn't have enough time for planning.

 Doctor Barry connected the projector just like he had done the other time. The projection was a view of ice cubes and Asians, which the team members watched in anxiety about what it could all be about.

 Doctor Barry began "Now your second mission. Our next mission more preferably, is much of logical reasoning and not strength or war. And it is based in China. The Chinese government have been really concerned about the popular Wyo-ming ice block which is dominating all over China and going global. The ice block is said to be made in both small cubes and large sizes. It is used in schools, homes, workplace offices, and other places by everyone, old or young and even politicians and celebrities in China. The ice block is bought by 99% of China citizen because of its excessive sweetness, long duration,ETC. And kids take it as summer lollipop and sweeteners. These ice block have spread all over China and is still spreading into several Asian countries. The government of China are growing afraid of the product. They are afraid there is something improper and suspicious about the ice block. So, They want us to help them to find out the secret of the product which is said to be founded by anonymous", Dr. Barry announced.

 For some minutes, the teammates were lost in thought. They were thinking of the sort of mission it's going to be. China is not just a simple country. A lot of people are aware of its contribution to the origination of COVID-19, the deadly disease that claimed millions of lives.

 "Dafeles, Chris, Louis, Hwi and Diana will be needed for such a mission while the others whom are military based will guide, support and protect them in the process", Doctor Barry informed "Any questions?"

 "Our communication is really important. How do we speak with the Chinese?" Louis asked.

 Doctor Barry replied " I am sure Hwi would help you out in that aspect. That's why he would also be needed, even as an hacker"

 Doctor Barry decided that they should call it a day after a few questions and told them to be prepared as soon as possible the next day, so the team dispersed to their respective estates.

 Dafeles went for a coffee in the regular restaurant. He discovered his new friends were not available as they had left for their mission.

 Once it was 7:00 AM the next morning, Dafeles was all looking good in a smart outfit and traveling bag. He took the G.I.A.C.A cab to the heliport, where he joined his fellow mates in the chopper as they took off for Hong Kong, China that morning.
