Goodnight

Caith came to a small clearing in the forest and sat down cross legged, and Sionna copied him.

"Now you can rest your hands on your knees or you can do other poses, for now just let them rest. Keep your back straight, no slouching." Sionna did her best to follow his instructions, he then reached over and toys her her stomach and back with his hands very lightly.

"Don't stick your stomach out keep it in," then he touched her shoulders adjusting them. "Very good." Then he closed his eyes and she did the same.

'Now clear your mind,' Caith said in her head and she tried to think of nothing. Yet immediately she started thinking of everything.

'Think about where you are now, think about the way the air in your lungs feels as you breath.' And she concentrated on on the air entering her nose and leaving her mouth. For a while it worked, then her mind wandered again.

'Feel the earth bellow you, the soil, the grass we are sitting on, the earth bellow it.' His words snapped her out of it and she began concentrating on the ground.

Ciall's hand gripped the wall of the tub, struggling to stand upright as Demarcus undressed her. They were in her bedroom, she had a bed on one side and a desk with papers against another wall. The bathtub was temporarily placed in the middle of the room by the slaves. It was very large and it took up a lot of space in the room.

Demarcus was careful as he took off her clothes. He loved her body, and of all the woman he slept with hers was his favorite. She had dramatic curves, wide hips and large breasts but her stomach was perfectly flat. It was because she was part elf that she was so beautiful and perfectly built. It was the goblin and human in her that allowed her body to have curves.

When he started unbuttoning her shirt he kissed her collarbone. With her free hand Ciall swatted him away. When he finished he helped her get into the hot bath water, then her undressed and joined her.

"Your aim was good the other day. You hit the shifter right before he got you in the elbow." She commented not bothering to open her eyes.

"So you smelt this blood and when the arrow hit him," he smiled. "Honestly I wasn't sure if I did get him, he was very fast."

"Tell me about," she said struggling to wiggle her toes. Demarcus gave her a look and brushed his leg against hers. Yet Ciall didn't react, her eyes still closed.

"That wasn't a normal shapeshifter, that wolf had to be at least 7 feet tall when it stood on his hind legs." She said still stressed about the thought of going after it again.

"Calm down we will have more warriors go after it, and hopefully a better trained magic user. Idris was kinda useless," she recalled the terrified girl who struggled to heal his arm.

"Not completely, she did get us out of there at some point."

"Yeah and now she's comatose. Who knows if she's going to wake up." Demarcus replied lazily teaching over to touch her hand, hoping to get a reaction out of her.

Ciall opened her eyes when his hand touched hers and gave him a look.

"Did you drink the potion?" She asked him her dark eyes narrowing. Demarcus pointed to an empty vial on the desk.

"I always do sweetheart, I don't think the world's ready for miniature Demarcus. Or Ciall for that matter." He spoke with his usual elvish charm and deviousness.

"Good," she said lifting her arm and motioning for him to come closer.

The two mediated or Sionna tried to do so, for three hours. By the end Sionna was strangely exhausted from doing very little.

Eventually the two of them followed the sounds and smells of the village. Caith explained to her that they would have to spend the night at a hotel, which she was fine with. First they went to check on the horses and finally meet the boss man of the stable hand. He was very willing to buy the horses and carriage and saddles. Caith had no use for them now so he gave it all away for much less than it was worth.

They found a nice little hotel with a restaurant on the first floor which was very important to Caith.

The innkeeper was a nice old lady who looked at their rings before saying. "I have a lovely room for couples, it even has a small deck if you want some fresh air."

"Act-" Sionna was about to ask for a room with separate beds.

"Actually, we are more concerned about when the restaurant closes." Caith said cutting her off.

'We can't be suspicion and get two separate beds,' she scolded her in her thoughts.

'Why not she's just a nice old lady she won't do anything.'

'She is a nice old lady and she is very wary of men that bring woman here to sex traffic them. She calls the authorities on them and soldiers come and arrest them. Which isn't something I want to deal with.' As they talked inside their heads the lady told them the times the restaurant was open.

"Oh that's perfect!" Sionna replied to her grabbing Caith's hand and looking at him lovingly. Then turning to the lady she asked, "do you have any potato dishes? I have been craving potato lately." She said smiling at her.

"Oh of course, I have..." she replied listing them off.

'Better?' She asked Caith.

'Much better,' he said looking down at her and smiling. The old woman who is always suspicious of any woman who walks in with a man she doesn't seem that familiar. Felt herself relaxing, 'they were probably just tired and hungry.' She thought to herself watching the man look down at the red haired woman as if she was a precious gem.

When she finished listing her menu items with potatoes she handed them a key. Caith gave her some gold coins and she pointed them in the direction of their room and reminded them one last time when the restaurant closed for the night.

Sionna gave her a bright smile as they disappeared up the stairs with their backpacks.

They set their bags down and came back down for dinner, Sionna ordered an array of potato dishes knowing Caith would finish them if she didn't. And Caith ordered a variety of meats and vegetables knowing fully well he would also have to finish Sionna's meal.

The old lady took their order and disappeared to the kitchen. Her grandson helped her cook and bring out the food and before they knew it they had finished dinner. They gave a generous tip to the two kind people and headed for bed.

When they got to the room Caith pulled a sleeping back from his backpack and rolled it onto the floor. Sionna looked at the hardwood floor, and felt bad for him.

"You can sleep in the bed, we can just sleep in our animal forms again," she said biting her lip.

"I thought you wanted to sleep separately?" He asked the right corner of his lip turned upright.

"Oh stop it, it's fine we did it before." She said transforming and curling up on the end of the bed.

Caith put the sleeping bag away. 'Don't look,' he said having nowhere to change he took his clothes off and transformed as well. Even curled up in a ball he took up most of the bed. 'Please don't knock me off the bed,' she said to herself.

'I will try my best, goodnight.'

'Goodnight.'
