Thanking Their Mother

When he saw her returning, he stepped forward, doning one of his best smiles.

"Hello Ma'am." You must be Elvis and Eleanor's mother."

He mentioned their names flawlessly as if he had known them for a very long time, courtesy of his sister in-law who had also supplied their names.

Mrs Carr stopped and assessed the young man who suddenly stopped her.

He was handsome and well dressed in a customized gray suit. He had the right bearing around him and the twinkle in his eyes when he smiled, displayed his easy going personality.

She summarized he must also have an impressive background and didn't suspect anything.

"I'm actually their nanny, sir," she corrected politely.

"Oh, sorry for the misunderstanding," he was quick to apologize as if it was really a mistake.

As a matter of fact, he had known all along that she wasn't their mother.
