I Had No Choice.

Mr Beazell rubbed his forehead, a contemplative look on his face as if he was actually thinking about the points Kathleen just raised.

"I had no choice but to resort to that option," he shrugged. "And like I said earlier, it was the only way I could get to you, and just like I predicted, it actually worked."

Kathleen was speechless. 'Was something wrong with every member of the Beazell family?' Initially she thought he was the rational one in the family but it turned out all the members of the family have a twisted mind.

Although it could be considered a means to an end, under the present circumstance, won't it rope them in further?

Don't they know that the more they act recklessly, the more they complicate things for themselves and get deeper into the mess.

How can he simply justify his rash actions with such a lame excuse when facing the law?
