Meeting Him... Again

After getting discharged from the hospital, Wen Ling decides she should meet with her manager first. Walking out of the hospital, Wen Ling spots a luxurious, black car parked in front of the main doors. I wonder who this belongs to? Wen Ling thought as she proceeded to walk around it.

Just as Wen Ling walked pass the black car, it honked at her, causing her to jump. Turning her head to see who would do such a thing, Wen Ling's eyes widen with surprise.

The car door opens and a man walks out. Wearing a sleek black suit, an air of confidence hung around him. Wen Ling cannot believe her luck, this man in front of her was the one and only, Lang Tian Yu.

"You!" Wen Ling yelled, pointing her finger at the man.

Tian Yu crossed his arms.

"What do you mean 'you'? Did you lose your manners while staying at the hospital?" he said, a smirk on his face.

Wen Ling huffed in disbelief. I can't believe I was about to marry this man in my past life, she thought.

"I didn't lose my manners, you just don't deserve any of it," Wen Lin retorted.

With that, she walked past him and pulled out her phone to call her manager.

Tian Yu turned around to stare at the woman who was going to be his fiancee. Did I recognize the wrong person? He thought as he continued to look at her. There's no way Wen Ling used to act like that. Did she hit her head during the accident? Confused and bewildered, Tian Yu could only watch as the woman finished her phone call and continued walking away. She didn't even glance back.

Wen Ling wanted to get as far away as she could from Tian Yu. She didn't even want to look at him. She trusted him so much in her past life but who knew deep down, he's just as evil as her younger sister.

Her manager's car pulled up a few minutes and she quickly got in.

"How are you feeling Wen Ling? Do you want me to take you home?" The manager asked when the car was on the road again.

"I'm good, just take me to the company, I replied.

When we finally arrived, I could see people sneaking glances at me. I guess the accident of mine became a hot topic overnight. I ignored them as I went into the elevator. When the doors opened, a girl threw herself into me. Looking down, I found myself genuinely smiling for the first time since I've woken up.

"Qian Qian, please let go. You're going to squeeze me to death," I said jokingly.

"Do you know how worried I was?! I thought you were not going to come back!" Qian Qian said through sobs.

"Alright, alright, I'm sorry. I shouldn't make you worry like that but I'm here now aren't I? Come on, let's dry those tears," I said as Qian Qian released me.

After calming down and settling in a seat, Qian Qian was finally able to talk normally.

"Did you know how the accident happened?" she asked, blowing her nose.

"I'm not sure, it just happened," I answered even though I have a pretty good guess who did it. Lying to Qian Qian would be the last thing I'd do but in this case, I'm here for revenge so I'm not going to drag anyone else into it.

The manager suddenly popped in, telling me that a bunch of reporters and interviewers have gathered outside the company because someone saw me come back.

"Do you want the security to scatter them?" he asked.

Wen Ling was about to answer when a plan formed in her mind.

"No need, I will go out there myself," Wen Ling said, smiling at the thought of finally being able to put her revenge plan in action.
