Chapter 12 A Friend in need

Glimpse awakened in a place that was terrifying, dark and cold, she tried to move forward but she was chained to the wall. She heard a familiar voice "turtle?", she peered over to the next coconcealment, she was actual sitting down and was talking to someone. "idk, anything about them, just dont hurt them alright?", glimpse then did something she had never done, she retracted her claws so that they showed, since her claws were hidden away cause she never used them, she cut the first chain, she had six more to go. Soon someone was standing in front of glimspes concealment, it was kou, his face was saddened and he stared at the floor. "im...so..sorry, I didnt want this to happen especially to you..", he put his hand on the concealment door, glimpse put her hand on the concealment door so her hand was placed on kous; soon kou realized her broken chains "you gotta be carcareful, I'll be back soon, stay alive for me okay?", glimpse nodded. She heard someone open her concealment door "kou!" she rushed to the door, only to be ment with sorrow, "it's time", glimspe then was being pulled to a gaint cage. Shelby and turtle were right by the cage, glimpse was confused "why aren't they running", soon she got a good look at their eyes; they were red and thier pupils were diamond shape, she then realized what was going to happen "Let Me Go!", she started to refuse to go where the chain was going. Soon kou jumped down and broke the chains, he grabbed glimspes hand and started running "where are we going?!", kou soon found an abandoned minecart, "somewhere safe" he tried pushing the cart but it was no use, soon enough glimspe helped and pushed it as well; soon sorrow stood with the extractor gun, kou then grabbed glimspe and pulled her into the cart "LOOK OUT!" sorrow hit the cart, as glimpse and kou both got up, they saw the cart was moving. Soon sorrow sent shelby and turtle after them "find them, if you loose them you'll become the new bait. Glimpse and kou were in the cart still, kou was in the back and glimpse was in the front, kou then spoke "could..we..start over?", glimpse looked at kou confused, "you..know..we did get off on the wrong foot", glimpse then smiled "you know, I've never met someone as brave as you", usually we would call that a endangerment. Kou gave her a smile "you really think so?, well I've never met someone as strong wilded as you"; the two finally had accomplished something everyone was afraid off, Being friends.

As soon as the cart stopped, glimpse held her arm, "what happend?" kou asked walking over, he looked at her arm to see it turning into dark Crystal's. "you got hit didnt you?", glimpse nodded, and kou spoke "dont worry, your only partially corrupted, if we can make back to your home it will heal you". glimpse was worried "what happens when I get corrupted?" kou gave her smile "I wont let that happen". As they walked glimpse seemed to be getting weaker and weaker, "do you need a break?" kou asked, glimpse looked up "I'm fine", she tried to keep walking but it was obvious she wouldn't be able to keep up; kou finally decided it was time to take action, "no more walking, untill you tell me what's wrong". Glimpse looked up, and she showed kou her leg, which was starting to crystalize now. "Okay I had enough of this, you need healing" kou said, but glimpse wanted to get home, so she got up and fell "I cant feel my legs" glimpse said. Kou then picked her up and dropped her gently on the rock, he took a good look at her leg "okay, thats pretty bad". Glimpse tried to stand, but her legs were starting to crystallize more and more. She then flew up, "can I just fly?", glimpse asked. Kou then spoke "yes, but I cant fly remeber?", glimpse then took out another contraption. "my tail set?" kou asked glimpse nodded "I even added your ElectricBolt on it", kou quickly attached it to his tail, after he started to fly again.

Kou then started to think, he looked at glimpse, maybe this would be a good time to ask her to the last league match.

Just maybe, this could be the start of something new.
