Chapter 2 A lovely dinner.

Ben located the room his aunt prepared for him, the room was not too fancy nor dull it was just normal and it suited ben taste very much.

The room only had a table and chair at one side of the room, while the mattress was covered with neat bed spread, and a wardrobe at a corner where he could keep his clothes.

Ben nodded his head with satisfaction and said, "Aunty really knows my style and taste,i am really gonna love it here." Ben picked up his wooden suitcase, dusted it and and kept it inside the wardrobe.

He went into the bathroom, which was just by the other end of the room, he switched the lights of the bathroom on and started brushing his teeth.

After that ben set the water running into the bathtub warm and he dipped himself into it, he relaxed his tense muscles and enjoyed the soothing water.

"Ben, please be fast with what you're doing or the soup would get cold and you know you don't like to eat cold food." Aunt lu's voice came right into Ben's ear which made him snap out of sleeping in the tub.

"Oh, just a minute please, I would be down soon." Ben replied aunt lu as he jumped out of the tub, dried himself and quickly put on his night wear.

He raced down stairs and saw aunt lu in the dinning room who was already eating, "Hope am not too late." Ben said as he picked sat in a random chair near the dinning table."

"No, you're just in time, dig in as I know you're starving from that long journey so I prepared a little bit much." aunt lu said as she pushed some foods to ben's plate for him to eat.

"Oh aunt lu you are very kind, I really appreciate everything you've done for me and thank you for this lovely dinner,

even in the country side I haven't eaten much food like this I really must say thank you, Don't worry aunt lu in the future I would probably pay you double..No triple the amount you have given to me." ben said with sincerity and determination.

"Don't worry about that, you are my nephew and I am supposed to look after you in a big house not this shabby house and you're welcome."

"So how's the country side, it's be long since I've visited there, and how is that Neighbor close to your house doing, what's her name again... right, how's the mabels doing!?" aunt lu said as she had entered her gossip mode.

Ben chuckled and said, "Whoa, Whoa , aunt take easy am not running away,am I? relax I would answer your question. Well mabel is doing fine until they move out from the house and later found another house outside the country, it was really sad for me as they were the ones that usually feed me sometimes."

"Wait! Don't tell me you're joking right." aunt lu said not believing anything ben said.

"Aunt lu, how can I be joking about such matter, I know you are Mabel's mom friend but they have already move out." Ben replied her back.

~sniff~ sob. " she didn't even tell me her best friend, and I was already planning to visit her, sigh why is life like this."Aunt lu said.

Ben started laughing as he said, "How can she tell you when you know her phone lost not long a ago and she travelled yesterday evening and why are you crying about such small matter."

"oh, how was I supposed to know." aunt lu said as she was feeling a bit embarrassed, but ben didn't stop laughing, and this made her cheeks red like tomatoes, so she picked up a spoon by her side and used it to hit ben head.

"ouch, aunt lu what's that for." ben said as he hold his head.

"Nothing but it's time for bed and you no your mom doesn't like you sleeping late."aunt lu replied, she then turned her face away from ben and picked up the plates to wash.

she was about to head towards the sink when she knew about the consequences about what she just said, aunt lu turned her back and saw ben's brown eyes starting to turn watery.

"oh ben am really sorry, don't worry you can sleep late just only today." Aunt lu quickly said as she knew she wasn't supposed to speak about ben's mom as ben's mom was already Dead.

"Don't worry about me aunt lu, and like you said mom wouldn't want me to sleep late, so I would make mom proud and sleep early today." ben said.

"Alright, go to bed and sleep tight,"aunt lu replied.

"okay."

Ben went to his room, he switched off the bright light, before he switched on the dimmed night light.

The rain started falling and it was raining heavily, Ben was a bit cold so he pulled up the duvet so that it could cover everywhere off his body except his head.

unknowingly to him two streams of tears fell down from both sides of his eyes, "Mom where are you? why did you leave me all alone? don't you know I am lonely if you leave me!?, I really miss you mum."Ben mumured to himself as he fell into a deep sleep.

Aunt lu pushed the wooden door open and saw ben crying even though he was sleeping.

"Am really sorry sister, I really don't know what got into my head at that time, please forgive me wherever you are." Aunt lu said as she closed the door and left for her room.

The Next Morning.

The sun was already up, people were already going to work while some children was going to school as all schools was open fresh and new for the term.

Inside ben's room, Ben woke up and yawned, he stood up and did some stretching before heading towards the bathroom to freshen up.

just as ben got into the bathroom a scream was heard.

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHH!!!

SOMEBODY GET OFF!!!.
