Chapter 59: Annoying Doll II

"Well, since you're ready, go ahead" Dante said as some earth chairs rose up and they all sat down leaving Alexa and her doll at the center

"Also, just to remind you two, there's no magic use here" Rielle said before a bell went off

Like a bomb, Alexa's aura went off and her eyes were glowing red as her nails and teeth elongated while her brows furrowed. She breathed in, and in a flash, she was in front of the doll with her hands ready to hit its face.

In a quick motion, the doll moved its head backwards, making Alexa miss, and she growled in anger. One of her legs touched the ground and in perfect rhythm, she tried to give the doll a roundhouse kick but the doll dodged it and kicked her other leg off balance while holding onto the leg she tried to use and kick it.

"It's pointless" the doll said "I can read your every move"

"You annoying little piece of mud" Alexa cursed as she used her hands as leverage and kicked her leg back. This swung the doll that was holding onto her leg, into the ground.

But she wasn't satisfied as she tried to crack open the head of the doll with all her strength concentrated to her heel. Suddenly, she felt a strong arm grab her leg midway, and turn her leg with so much force, her body was swung into the ground beside where the doll once laid.

Holding onto Alexa's leg while standing proudly, was the doll with Scott's face. The doll gave her a cheeky smile which really pissed her off

"Are you going to give up?" the doll asked

"Never" Alexa shouted as she used the strength in her legs to kick the doll dead in the chest and move away from it with a few flips

"Well then....prepare to feel some pain" the doll said as it appeared behind her and kicked her on her back. Her whole body was flung forward with a grunt from her. Alexa's body bounced on the ground a couple of times until she lay still on the floor.

"I never knew a doll could be so skilled" Priya said "Alexa's received a lot of damage"

"But so has the doll" Dante said "At this rate, she might or might not pass level one"

"Plus, the doll's ability to fight, was gotten from all the records the spirit world has on Scott's original body activity" Rielle said "I just increased the durability of the doll, to make it strong enough to overcome any beating it takes. What you're seeing, is the person, Scott's, ability to fight. He's very skilled"

"That's amazing" Priya said in surprise as Alexa began to get off the ground and cough a bit

"So....Scott always knew how to fight?" Alexa asked while standing a bit bent

"He did" the doll said as it walked towards her "I'm just copying his natural abilities"

As the doll said this, Alexa nodded her head

"He didn't want to tell me. So he always let me beat him up" Alexa said as she chuckled bitterly "On well. Since you're a fake, I'll beat you up in his place, cause you look just like him"

"And how are you gonna do that?" the doll asked while standing directly in front of her

"Like this" Alexa said with a smile before kicking the doll in the groin and grabbing its head, she gave it a suplex. Everyone watching, turned speechless.

The doll was left lying on the ground, with it eyes spinning and a hand on its groin. Alexa was the only one standing and she slightly tapped the head of the doll with her leg

"Are you gonna give up?" Alexa asked tauntingly

"Level one, completed" the doll said "Would you like to proceed to level two?"

"Go to hell, you annoying doll" Alexa said "With the way I'm beaten up, there's no way I'm going to any level two"

"Processing order....powering off" the doll said before it reverted back into its former form. Then, some time later, it turned into a bag.

"This is so freaky" Alexa mumbled

"Congratulations, Alexa" Dante said after he finding his voice "You've surpassed your limits and reached level two. Meet Virginia or Tory to heal you"

"Thanks" Alexa said but before she could leave, Rielle reminded her

"Don't forget the doll. It's your training partner"

With a frown, Alexa picked up the bag and walked away. And after getting healed by Virginia, she went to sit with the others.

Allen kept taking glances at Alexa who was clutching the doll bag close to her chest. Although she was frowning, her eyes and actions told a different story.

'So, that guy was the well-known Scott' Allen thought 'Her feelings for him are pretty deep. She won't be able to forget him so easily during these two years' this thought saddened him and he looked away from her and shook his head as though trying to get the thought out of him 'There are different possibilities. She won't stick to a dead guy for the rest of her life. I'm sure of it'

"Sloane...." as soon as he heard Alexa call out to Sloane, his ears perked up and he was pulled back to reality

"Huh? What is it?" Sloane answered

"I....I was wondering. What was your relationship with Scott" Alexa murmured

"We were like siblings" Sloane said

"But-"

"Alexa, don't think of that. I'm telling you the truth...although, it didn't seem that way to others" Sloane said "The Connor family welcomed me into their house. I slept in the same house as Scott, we had rooms on the same hallway, he always took me out to see Greenwood Springs and we always argued. I sort of see why people called me a boyfriend snatcher when I never did anything"

"That's exactly why-"

"That's exactly why you're asking. I know" Sloane said calmly "As a kid, if I ever got into trouble outside of the house, I could always count on Scott to save me. As such, I got attached to him and had problems saying no when he asked for something. And he always acted like a child. You on the other hand, was slightly different from Scott. So, I set the two of you up just so I could get away from him"

She smiled "However, my plan backfired on me and I became jealous when he always spent time with you. Moreover, as someone he swore to protect, I was always with him. That's why...I tried to keep you two apart. But, he was at his happiest with you and as someone who cared about him like a brother, I decided it was high time I gave you two some space. After all, I was acting like an overprotective child who believed her only brother was being taken away by the wicked witch. It's just time that made me realise I was a stupid kid"

Alexa chuckled as her grip slightly released from her doll bag "Now that you mention it, I remember when me and him were going out on our first date. You came all the way and started listing all the things he liked and disliked, so the date wouldn't go bad" she smiled "When the two of us went on that date, and I knew almost everything about him, he asked me if I had spoken to you earlier. He didn't even think I was stalking him, he thought of you. Which was funny"

"Now, the doll you have, copied all of his traits" Sloane said "Take good care of it. Maybe, you'll be able to say goodbye to him this way and move on"

Alexa chuckled "You seem to have gotten better at pep talks and cheering someone, up"

"Ladies, please" Dante said and they both smiled at each other before paying attention. Dante cleared his throat "Since I picked a girl last time, will a boy please come up?" he asked but once again, nobody came up

"Do you people really want to learn?" Rielle asked

"We do. But.....how should I put this...." Timothy said as his voice trailed off

"Getting our butts kicked isn't something we wanna try" Christian said

"Plus, the girls are more than us" Clark said

"They should go a couple of times before us" Jerald said

"Nathan, Allen, help me out here" Dante said and the two people in question looked at each other before looking at Dante

"Don't involve me in this" the two said at the same time and Dante shook his head

"Since the boys have turned into chickens, we'll go ahead" Fernanda said as she got up and removed her jacket, before tying it around her waist.

She walked up to the center and Priya tapped one of the screens. And in front of Fernanda, stood another human sized mud doll.
