"Why do I keep losing everybody I love?" he muttered as his eyes were filled with tears yet he feels empty as if the whole in his heart keeps growing leaving him with no emotions left.

Titania couldn't find the right thing to say to Lennox who looks like he wouldn't mind if he dies now. They're already nearing the Imperial Palace and Belial doesn't seem to be chasing after them.
When they reached the Imperial Palace, Rune transformed back into his human form while Lennox sat on the hard ground with emptiness in his eyes.
