No it's not a necessity it's simply something that had always peaked my attention. It looks just the one my Pa got for me..

I also bought some strength and agility potions just in case anything happens, you can never be too safe.

I said reading the huge signboard above the school. I couldn't help but be thrilled thinking about all the potential pieces I would encounter.

The school was enormous. It had 10 massive campuses: 3 dorms, 3 training grounds, an assembly and the rest are for teaching.

A loud noise emitted from the speaker.

"Every student should arrive in the assembly by 9:00 am tomorrow morning"

There are no classes and events happening today. The students are expected to get used to their dorms, roommates and the school.

I walked for hours before getting to the dorms. The school is designed like that so the students can be time aware and obviously the students who they truly care about should be able to quickly run through it in 30mins not like extras whose average time would be 1h 30mins. The difference in physical capability is bizarre.

It took me 2hrs to get there, which means I am below average even for an extra.

That's my room it was in the 2nd building.

'Room 200.., 214.. 229..234!'

I finally found it.

I opened the door of the room. My roommate was already there. He was sitting on the sofa

By his stats he seems like one of those musclehead characters whom only care about strength. He's a major extra.. that means he interacts with the protagonist or someone important. He would have been a good piece but I don't fit any of his requirements. 'Show him your strength'? trust me I would to if I could. I should probably try to avoid him as much as possible.

I say to him as I walk quickly to my room. I'm in the second room. I enter the room and close the door.

That guy I have to be very careful with him. His stats are way higher than that of an extra. The normal stats of an extra are

Endurance: 2

Intelligence: 2

Agility: 2

Charisma: 1

Luck: 1

So in comparison he's basically a monster.

My mind shifted to Peter, he's probably waiting for me to call him. I'm his only 'friend' after all.

"Hello, Peter. How's your dorm?"

I say. He would probably invite me over.

"Uh.. hes- actually can you just come?"

Hmm he still invited me as I expected but what's with he's tone? Just who is his roommate. It's probably someone important. That's good, I wanted him to invite me in case maybe he had a roommate who could later also become one of my pieces since I had no luck with mine.

"Ah ok, what's your room number"

"Room 226"

Phew, I was worried his room would be far or in another dorm but it's relatively close to mine.

I finally get to his room. I knock on the door and Peter imediately opens it. He whispers to me.

"You wouldn't believe who my roommate is!"

I get more curious.

"Who is it?"

I take a peak into the room and I see him..

That guy... the one who I met in the dungeon.

"The protagonist"

He whispers to me.

I was flabbergasted, I took a second look at him. Was he really the protagonist?? HIM?!?

"Peter what's taking so long, is someone at the door?"

He says as he walks towards the door. Sh*t. He looks at me for sometime given his shaken composure he definitely remembers me .

"Hey I'm Peter, What's your name?" he says offering me his hand.

" Aaron"

I say returning his handshake. He's hand is hard and full of callus. He must train alot. The handshake lasts for a while.

"Well I'll probably head out now, nice to meet you Aaron"

He puts slight emphasis on my name sounding somewhat aggressive. Peter doesn't seem to notice that.

"Same here"

I reply as he leaves the room. I feel his eyes fixated on me till he finally leaves the room.

"He's so nice isn't he?"

"Yeah"

Peter doesn't seem to have picked up anything wierd about his behavior. I can't believe he's the same person who I saw in the dungeon not to talk about him being the protagonist. I would have also been completely fooled if I didn't see him before. I wonder how things will play out...

Yesterday I was able to increase +10 of Peter's trust. I'm still shocked about that guy... Enough about that for now, I need to get to the assembly before 9:00 it's currently 6:30. I should be able to get there 30mins before it's time if I start going now. I leave my room and take a bath. I believe that Felix, my roommate is still at home. Well it makes sense he should probably be able to get there in an 1 hour or less.

I leave the room.

'System, is there a way to get exp without hunting?'
