[4] T,This is Punishment?

'Huh?, isnt this the best outcome?, ...mm thinking back, the duke did had a tsundere side.'

"Young master, the academy is totally secure, so you dont have to worry about it.

Many of our guild members children will be there to help you, you can use the disinheritance news to identify those that are ungrateful."

'This guy has a way with words, nonetheless it is the best outcome, i was thinking of getting rid of servents before, as i would need to do some things in secret.'

With new found happiness, we arrived at our destination.

If anyone asks where one can get high quality skill cards the first answer would be the Merchants Guild. The merchants guild collects and sells high quality skillcards from all over the world, they runs auctions for newly found cards thus are highly regarded amoung hunters.

Most humans awakens and chooses to be hunters who goes to dungeons, these dungeons contains monsters and when these monsters are slayed, there is a chance of obtaining skill cards and other materials including monster parts.

There are six grades of skill cards., Common, Uncommon, Rare, Epic, Legendary and Mythic.

At this point in the story, no mythic cards are discovered, thus the world now only know of five grades upto legendary and there are only few of those.

Common grade skillcards could be between a few hundreds to a few thousand of dollars while legendary grade are worth in the hundreds of millions.

For a person to use a skill card they need to place it in their grimoire, the grimoire has a corporeal and incorporeal form and is absorbed into the hunters body after placing skill cards, then the hunter needs to summon the grimoire back when they needs to use the skills.

To use a skill card, an amount of energy specified in the card needs to be spent. For an average person, he or she would have 60 energy, and by defeating monsters or fighting opponents the hunter could increase his or her Energy reserves.

This is where the grimoire grade and growth bonus comes into play, as a black grade, if i receive 10 energy for doing something, a bronze grade could receive 20 energy and a silver grade could receive 30 energy and a golden grade could get 40 energy for doing the the same amount of work. Not only that, the growth bonus also plays a part in gaining stats and leveling up.

And if i need to use a 10 energy card, i would need to spend all 10 energy but a bronze grade only needs to spend 8 energy and a silver grade only needs to spend 6 energy and our protagonist would only need to spend 2 energy. This is a great advantage as a higher grade user will be able to spam dozens of skills with higher energy efficiency.

Arriving at the merchants guild we were greeted by the branch manager and we were invited inside.

"Young master neo, we have been informed of your arrival, we have prepared all our best cards, please take a look."

"Ah, yes"

He handed me a catelogue of varying grades of skillcards, and there is a lot.

Even though there epic ranked skill cards here, it wont be very beneficial to me

I need to to choose wisely, and for powercards i can snatch legendary cards from the plot, which would have been used by some annoying villains.

From the list, i choose a few that would be useful for me.
