CHAPTER 1.2

Nana and Harith continued their journey to spot the mythical sprites by the Enchanted falls. But they have to search for Fire Blooms first.

An hour has passed and the sun is shining brighter and hotter. Nana is already feeling exhausted and she sweats like rain drops from the clouds. Harith doesn't seem to mind the heat like Nana does.

"Can we rest for awhile? I'm tired and it's so hot." she complained. "How come you don't feel tired?"

"Hm? Oh! I'm used to walking on hot days. You see, before we ended up here in the Enchanted forest, we often travel deserts just to find a place to stay. It was a rough childhood unlike yours. I mean you grew up like normal kids did. I didn't."

Harith stopped walking and Nana stopped right behind him. "Are you okay?" she asked.

He clenched his fists. "Damn those Orcs."

Nana slowly walked up to him and hugged him from behind. "I may not know you're past. But I sure do feel your pain."

He fell silent.

He didn't expect that a sweet, jolly and mischievous leonin like Nana would talk so seriously. "Thanks." He simply replied.

She released from the hug and Nana started walking pass him. She looked back at him. "Let's create our own journeys." she said. "Both of us. Together or not."

"I like the sound of that." he said with a faint smile.

Nana grinned and continued walking. Harith stood still and smiled. "You're really something... Nana." he whispered to himself.
