Why Don't You Ask Your Girlfriend?

~•Amara•~

I threw a glance towards the door of the room. It wasn't completely shut, allowing the pale light to creep inside the room from the lounge. The faint sound of footsteps could be heard echoing inside the quiet room as the owner of the place walked towards the bedroom.

I turned my attention towards Aden who was staring back at me with his eyes wide open. The worry of being caught by a teacher was etched in his face in the shape of a frown which was resting peacefully in between his eyebrows, refusing to go away.

"Don't panic." I mouthed the words before turning my attention back to the books before me. With the sound of the footsteps nearing towards the room banging against my ear drums, I continued to look through them with the hopes that I would find the right one before we ended up being caught.

"How can I not panic? What the hell are you doing?" I heard him whisper-yelling next to my ear.
