Messy Plot (1)

Arren didn't know what was going on with Spade or why he suddenly became absentminded. He hugged him like he was going to disappear. However, he could feel it. Spade's chaotic emotions and his fear deeply resonated with him through this embrace.

They stayed like that for a few moments. Arren made himself comfortable in Spade's arms. He wanted to show Spade that he wasn't going to vanish and that he would always be here with him.

He was curious about the reason, but Arren didn't ask in the end. In a sense, it was like Spade; he wanted the other to tell him if he wanted to.

However, he had an idea that his question somehow involved why Spade had become like this. Arren suddenly felt guilty for something he wasn't sure about.

"Are you okay?" Arren asked; they were still in each other's arms. Since it had somehow already loosened from the earlier tight embrace, Arren almost couldn't breathe.

The alpha hummed, caressing his hair.
