After breakfast with the lewis family.
Lily make her way back to her company
Her desk has already been fully with workload that morning.
She has asked her assistant to make sure every paperwork must go through her for recheck because she didn't trust her cousin now more than ever .though she assigned a new acting vp.
It didn't take twenty minutes that she started working that the door of her office bang opened
She don't need to guess who it was and her face turned cold
"Why did you replaced me with that lowly person that you called my acting vp" a man came in wearing a lavish suit looking like that of a spoil brat.
"Oh..now you can a person lowly, but why did I think you are the lowly one here "she said leisurely while continue flipping the paperwork on her desk.
The man was shaking with anger hearing lily classification of him but all he could was to point his finger shaking at her but regret it when lily glance up at him coldly
"Charlie ,you seem to be forgetting your space in this company, maybe I should remind you "she lazily glance at him and flip a strand of her hair to her back .
Charlie was throughly scared now he came in a fit of anger but now he was regretting it .
He always hard time of controlling his anger if his mother find about this he will be done for.
"Umm...lily am sorry but am better than that..
He stutter jelly he knows what the lady was capable of doing so his mother had warned him, to let her deal with her when is right time but now ...
again let me correct you for the very last time, here in company ,it is miss Brooke for you ."She corrected him seriously which she earned a quick nod from him
"And will you excuse now or I should send someone to help you "she said with a disdainful tone while her expression was one of disinterest looking bored
He didn't wait for her to finished and rushing out and disappeared
After watching his disappearing figure lily sigh out
She can only deal with Charlie after making sure her grandfather knows how useless and cunning the mother and son he is,but now she all need to have a stronger evidence.and strike
"Don't worry I will deal with you soon ,auntie Charlotte " she coldly stared at now close door
She picked the telephone and soon it connected
"Susan contact the representative for the material company we will be ordering the materials next week " lily said through the phone
It was late in the night when lily arrived at her apartment.
She looked at the apartment she has been called home since her parent demise.
She owns different estate's but never feel like home they were more like for business
After an hour of rumbling the kitchen she finally managed to make a simple meal dish for herself
As she prepared to sit and eat the bell door rang,not having a choice but to pause
She strode towards the entrance door
It was Ashley ,she didn't wish to open it cause she didn't have energy for her
"Lily are you home ?.it is Ashley "Ashley said loudly through the door
" a moment " Soon the door was unlocked and show Ashley smiley face .
"Why are you here late in the night "Lily asked as they walked back to the room
Ashley at the other hand smelled the aroma from dinning room and strode towards there
Lily roll her eyes at her childish behaviour,and strode after her.
"Lily this food smell nice hope there is more leftover "Ashley droll over the meal that was placed in a single dish on the dining table
"No,but if you are hungry you can go inside the kitchen and help yourself "lily replied dragging a chair for herself to sit
"Lily please..."She whine pleaded with her puppy eyes
"Only want to eat a meal made by you it is the best!"she added drooling over the food
"OK get a dish and let share this together am also not that hungry"lily was moved by her
And like that they both share the meal .
"Your room is clean you don't have to worry"
because Ashley has mysophobia so lily remind everytime that everything is clean
"But i don't want to sleep now I want stay with you for while "Ashley replied waving her hand dismissal
Not have a choice but to give in ,they sit down at the venrada looking at the night view of city N.
"Lily how are you doing now has your condition improved "Ashley asked corncen written all over her face
Lily nodded slowly while looking to distance with a Melancholic eyes
"I did find a clue about the accident "that caused Ashley to turned and look at her surprise
"What did you find out "she asked hurriedly
"It was a boy that told about you the last time we spoke "lily started still not turning to face her stunned
"Oh..Ok and who is it ?"She asked
" it is Edward Lewis " she said and Ashley turned silent for a while
"The same person we met at the Royal Life Bar ?"She asked in shock
Lily nodded in agreement she paused and added
"He is now my fiance "Ashley felt her like eyes want to pop out with the new information
"Fiance!"she shouted loudly in excitement
"Haha finally our virgin Lil is hooked "
"Hey what did you mean by hook, when we are not even in love"lily roll her eyes at her
" if you are not inlove then... "she paused before saying
"don't tell me it is arranged marriage" she asked in a hushed voice disbelief written on her face
But to her surprise lily nodded her head in agreement
"What! You didn't mean it right?"
I know you lily, you will never agree to that kind of a marriage and i believe you can't be forced " Ashley paused
"I got it ! you love him so you agree right"she said while nodding her head in understanding but the moment she heard lily response she turned silent
