The Elites (The sorcerer the guardian and the girl)

He appeared in a blink of an eye. I didn't see him when my eyes were reading the dress code and the people. Either he fell from the sky or just teleported here. As soon as my eyes landed on him, they widened at his aspect. He was wearing complete white which was complementing his silver silky hair. He gleams like shiny white armor. My eyes followed him, as he was getting closer in my direction.

Chapter 1

Violet redwood.

Standing in front of a shop glass, I examined my reflection for a long time. My stormy hair was tied in a bun. I don't remember from whom I inherited this hair, but this is what kids call my hair in the orphanage. Since I was 6, I grew up in an orphanage, the memory of my parents is getting vague as the years pass by.

Taking a deep breath, I looked at the mannequin behind the glass, covered under a sheet of cloth. Yesterday, she got her dress sold. With contentment, I looked at my dress. A small smile formed on my lips. This is the dress I always wanted to wear on my first day of college. And now, wearing this actually made me proud. I was ready too early, It was 7 in the morning, and the excitement of college woke me up early. Not even the shop was opened to buy a hat. Every part of me was well dressed in a missing hat. To me, a hat with a good dress was a sign of sophistication. I was waiting here for the shop to open up.

I couldn't let myself down in that college. It was a well-known college in the city. I studied and worked hard to enroll in it, though there was no proper faculty to teach us in the orphanage. We had an old library there, which was my backbone of studies. Physics was the subject that captured my interest. And I finally got admission in my field of interest. While learning, I started teaching others and earned money. All my savings were worth it after getting into this college.

Looking at the old-fashioned strap watch on my wrist, I was testing my patience. The way I grew up, I could wait for a long with good behavior, that is what patience is. Gazing at the seconds hand as it passes by, I didn't realize when the minutes passed and it was 7:30 now. The college starts at 8:30, I should be there at 8. Exhaled is disdain, I walked my way to the college. Having no vehicle, I should keep track of the time for walking. Passing calm roads and a cold breeze, I finally reached in front of the gate. There were few students parking their bikes beside the gate. It was 8:05 till I got here. Now there were two odds in my schedule; a missing hat and 5 mins late.

Shaking off the bad thought out of the gate, I entered with a fresh mind and fresh self. My eyes wandered from left to right. Both sides had a parking area for the bikes with trees behind the area in a line. From the right, there was underground parking for further vehicles, more of the four-wheelers. To the left, there was a round garden with palm trees here and there and so the benches. To the center, exactly in front of me was the building, an exquisite white building of the college. The structure itself was appealing. It looks more like a museum than a college building. The Cylindrical pillars on either side of the huge double door were something that will catch the eyes of the viewer. There were no plane pillars. All the distinct flowers were engraved on the pillars. There were no simple flowers on it. Those were the unique flowers of each different country.

Walking closer to the pillar, I tracked my delicate fingers in the designs. I could feel the shape of every petal. How elegant the design was crafted. After admiring the beautiful work, my eyes moved from the pillars to the huge double door. Both of the doors were closed for now. They open up at sharp 8:30.

The doors were in the form of a rectangle with a curved top. At the top center, there was the half Sun and the half Moon designed on each door, respectively. On them was a bigger circle which had sunrays and stars, each on each side of the door. The view is mesmerizing at night when the Sun, moon, rays, and stars glow in the dark. The handles of the door were formed in the shape of a pen. Two pens standing side by side on each end of the doors. To the bottom, an open book was carved in a manner that covers both the doors with it; half of the opened book was created at one door and the other half on the other. Each and every part of the building was made in a delicate detailed manner so that the building itself would be enough to gain students. My eyes just couldn't let go of the beauty. All I was thinking was how could be classes and practical laboratory? My imagination didn't take me anywhere. The door was already out of my imagination. The image of the laboratory was nowhere in my mind.

While I was busy admiring the art, the noise of the surrounding took my attention and the realization of time hit me. It was 8:20, and the ground was filled with students, waiting for the doors to open. Though it was filled, the place didn't feel tightly packed. Some of the students were standing in a group of four or five talking and discussing, some were still parking their bikes while a few were still entering. A couple of them were reading books. Apart from the activities of the students, the thing that beamed in my eyes was the dress code.

It was a dual-color dress, consisting of dark magenta and white. Females had a magenta skirt and shoes with a white shirt with socks, whereas males had the same thing, except trousers instead of skirts. Glancing my eyes at the dress, I noticed there was no specific size of the skirt. Some girls were wearing it short, and a few of them were wearing them just below the knees. Quite a few were wearing too short that their derriere may expose if they stoop or bend.

Though I wanted to be the first to enter, I distended myself from the door, as not to get pushed by the students while entering. Standing beside one of the pillars, my eyes were making to and fro movements at the door and my wristwatch. And the next moment, I heard some slow screams and awes from the girls. The movement of my eyes halted and my head turned in the direction of the sound and soon my eyes began to search for the source of it.

An 'Oh!' escapes my lips as I almost forget another crucial and unique part of this college; 'The guardian'. A person is assigned as a guardian for the students in every manner, which means, from studies to protection and responsibilities. I don't understand how only one person can do that for hundreds of students. There are limited seats in each section. Even though, this is the hardest task for a single person to do. I don't find this thing appealing, so it slipped out of my mind. But the reactions of the females forced my attention on the guardian.
