Away from home

Marianne squinted her eyes as she looked around because of the sunlight hitting her directly through the window. she realized she was in a moving carriage with two men by her sides.The last thing she remembered was fighting with them before being knocked out.She looked out of the window but was disappointed as she had no clue where she was.Her sudden movement alerted the men beside her.

"Don't try escaping we are already too far for that." the man at her left warned her.

"I'm not" she said in a defeated tone. To think she was sold by her aunt to these scary looking man pained her and left her emotionally drained that planning for another escape was not in her mind.

"How much did you pay my aunt"she asked as she couldn't hold it anymore.

"It's not your business and that strategy won't work." one of them said immediately as they entered a gate.

The carriage stopped and they dragged her out of the carriage and into the house.
