A Storm is Coming
When there is flood or fire, people mostly run back to their homes and carry their valuable things from their houses which of course isn't advisable as people get hurt on the process.
What happened to Gal however was shocking, she didn't carry anything which would have lasted her like forever.
Yes, she would have stashed some cash into her bag and run but no she didn't. Don't know if she was stupid or maybe she was fourteen years old trying to save her life and that of her brother.
