Birdy was sitting on the couch with a bowl of popcorn in her lap as she scrolled through social media. She was keeping an eye out for photos from Marc and Alaia's party, curious to know what the internet thought of the look she'd styled for Alex. Working together with Alex to create the perfect look, including accessories, hair, and makeup had been fun.
The phone vibrated in her hand as Alex's face popped up on her phone. Birdy smiled at the silly selfie Alex had taken and added to her contact.
"Hey," Birdy answered the phone with a smile, "When did you add this photo?"
"Photo?" Alex echoed in confusion before laughing as she remembered. "A few days ago, I wondered when you'd notice."
"You should probably call me more then," Birdy said teasingly. "What's up? How is the party?"
"It's great but we're moving to the afterparty now," Alex answered. "I was hoping you'd join us."
"What?" Birdy squawked in surprise. "You're joking."
