Chapter 43: Game Plan
"I'm here! I'm here!" Gemma announced as she burst into Kit's office like a tornado.
"Hey Gemma," Birdy greeted from her comfortable position on Kit's couch.
Kit was still going through the many clothes that Birdy had brought with her, while she watched and commented on each piece.
"What's the emergency?" Gemma asked in confusion as she looked around. "Is it a fashion emergency?"
Birdy laughed in disbelief and turned to Kit. "You told her we had an emergency."
"Well…we do," Kit insisted. "We need to come up with a game plan before you chicken out."
"Is one of you going to tell me why I'm here?" Gemma asked with one hand on her cocked hip. "I rushed from my office!"
"Birdy does have feelings for Alex," Kit informed her with a gleeful grin.
"I knew it!" Gemma cheered before she half collapsed on top of Birdy in an attempted hug. "I just knew I caught you staring at her legs, not that I blame you, I stare sometimes too."
