the threat of linfer part 1
"Oh God, it's raining hell out there, on days like this I wish I didn't have firepower." Frank takes a seat on his bed "yeah it is and the forecast said it won't stop until 1 pm" Sam informs Frank "so how's that game going Big guy, you kicking ass?" Frank wanders over to rest his head on Sam's chair. "Nah just trying to win. I've been on a losing streak" there's a knock at the door "I'll get it Sammy you just kick ass" the knock gets louder as if the person at the door can't wait. Frank yanks the door open "hey Frank what's up" the person at the door was a long time friend of the two. Mavis Smith, whose power is weapon expert where any weapon she picks up they gain knowledge on how to use it, drawback if she grabs too many weapons she gets a migraine. "oh hey man everything good?" "yeah yeah just missed you guys ya know ever since I moved into my new place" Frank brings Mavis into the room "hey man Sam gives a quick wave " hey Sam nice seeing you" Frank goes to pour a glass lemonade and takes a quick drink.
"mav Sam do any of you want a smoke?" Frank gestures two cigarettes to the two "no I'm good I don't plan on smoking" Frank tosses one to Mavis "yeah I'll take one" Mavis holds her arm up as Frank throws it to her "Frank can you light it" Frank proceeds to do a finger gun gesture with a jet of fire pointing out. "Thanks, Frank, nice one" Sam sighs. "well if you two are gonna smoke in here I'm heading out cuz I don't want any health problems" Sam turns off his console "you two want anything while I'm out?" the both can't think of anything so Sam just heads out "hopefully he brings an umbrella" Mavis utters.
Sam grabs an umbrella from the rack and puts his headphones on and heads out, as he heads out he spots a man with a pale complexion to his skin almost as white as a sheet, a bowler hat with a red diamond emblem, a scarf and earrings with LL on them and Sam thought nothing of it as he continues his walk to the local cafe he goes to all the time with Frank. "oh hey Sam the usual I assume." The barista knows Sam and the same coffee every time he goes there "oh ye- yes please." "sooooo how are things with that boy of yours." she asks "we are Keeping it slow and steady but I plan on taking it further." as she prepares the drink she tries to hold back the excitement. "can't believe you two were just roommates now look, all lovey-dovey" Sam blushes "anyhow here ya go it's on the house." Sam grabs it and sits down at a table near the window.
The man with pale skin walks into the cafe and peers his eyes over at Sam with a heart-piercing glance. "Hello sir, what can I get you?" the barista asks "oh I'd like an espresso on this gloomy day and I hope you wouldn't mind adding some extra cream." the pale man says "what is your name or what do you prefer to be called?" she asks "my name is linfer, Lucy linfer."
