The woman looked away, settling into the seat opposite them. She would have preferred never to speak of him again, yet she could not defy the King's command. "What would you like to know about Leocade? That was my husband's name," she replied, her tone measured but distant.

"Do you know who his father is? Did he ever mention anything about his father?" the King asked.

"Leocade never liked to speak about his father, so he never mentioned anything about him. He only said that his father was a manipulative man." Amara replied.

"Before his death, did he say anything that might help us identify who killed him?" the King pressed.
