EVERY STORM RUNS OUT OF RAIN - PART 1

The evening sky had transformed into a breathtaking canvas of rich, deep colors as the sun gradually faded behind the horizon. Faye couldn't help but marvel at the stunning display of pinks, purples, and oranges that illuminated the clouds from below.

She noticed from the carriage window as they moved over the road how the tall trees cast long shadows along the path, creating a sense of peacefulness and tranquility.

However, the gentle breeze that blew through the boughs of the pines brought with it the unmistakable scent of another impending storm, causing Faye to cringe in dread. The rain had continuously poured down on them today as they left the roadside graves of the dead knights. After being battered by the relentless storm, this lull had been a refreshing break.

She heard another distant rumble of thunder, signaling that the tempestuous weather moving closer, and nightfall was coming. They would need to seek a safe place to shelter soon.
