The huge form of darkish strength loomed over Blackthorn institution, its roar rattling the ground below their ft. Avery and her buddies stood company, prepared to tackle this new challenge head-on.
"Any thoughts?" Lucas screamed over the noise.
before any of us should reply, tendrils of darkness rushed out from the beast, wrapping round pupils and school alike. those touched by way of the darkness dropped to the ground, their eyes glazing over as though in a trance.
"it's controlling them!" Zara shrieked, ducking a tendril.
Damien's face paled. "No," he muttered, awareness dawning in his eyes. "It can not be."
The creature's form solidified, revealing a horrific puppet-like figure with glaring pink eyes. Its stare remained on Damien, and a terrifying chuckle resonated over the campus.
"good day, little Puppet grasp," the beast hissed. "Did you miss me?"
