"You must be joking," my father's deep voice commands everyone in the room. "First of all, you threaten my family and secondly you have the audacity to ask for fifty percent of all profits?"

Even I hold my breath in the tense silence that encompasses the room.

"I can only do thirty percent," my father says, making my jaw drop open before I get a hold of myself and snap it shut.

"I understand," my father says while matching the fake smile. "And I can give that support... for thirty."

"Now, see here," the president says, his smile dropping as his face darkens. "I think you forget who is in charge in this situation."
