Not long after returning home, she remembered the frail Liang Shuyu and the injured Liang Shujun, so she walked into the small room where her brothers were staying.

Shuyu leaned against the head of the kang bed, holding a book and occasionally letting out a light cough, with a pot of warm water within reach for when he got thirsty.

When Huiying arrived, Shuyu covered his mouth for a soft cough, and she frowned, then turned and left the room.

Shuyu glimpsed at her, then went back to reading. It wasn't long, though, before someone lifted the curtain and entered again.

Shuyu looked up to see Huiying return, holding a bowl in her hands. It was filled with a caramel-hued paste.

"Here, drink some of this, it's specifically for relieving coughs."
