"What?!"' Naomi's scream echoed through the house.

Turning to Yato, who looked as shocked as she was, Naomi grabbed Yato's collar with one hand and said, ''What the hell did you do?!

''I didn't do anything ... I guess?'' Yato said. 'Wait!' Yato thought, 'Maybe it's because of what I gave Kurumi-san earlier?'

'You sure did something, your look changed quickly and I noticed.''' Said Naomi who was staring at him seriously, she continued, ''Tell me what you did, now!''

"Okay, I'll tell you.'' Yato relented, he continued, "But first step back, you're too close."

Releasing Yato's collar, she noticed that she was getting very stressed out by him.

Moving a little further away from her, he could smell how pleasant she smelled and it made him feel strange.

"...So, remember that diamond I said I would sell earlier?".

Naomi nodded, obviously she remembered, no one would pull a diamond out of their pocket like that out of nowhere.

"Well, since I had no further use for it, I ended up giving it to Kurumi-San, she thought it was pretty, so I didn't see any problem in giving it to her.'' Yato explained himself.

Hearing his explanation, she wanted to punch him for doing that.

''Do you know what that means?'' Naomi retorted.

She found it odd that he turned away from her, but ignored it.

Shaking his head, he didn't know what it meant, was there some hidden reason he didn't know?

''It's almost like a marriage proposal to give a dowry to the wife's family.'' Naomi said.

''...No, it's not possible... I simply had no further use for the diamond... how can that turn into a marriage proposal?'' Yato began to deny. ''Should I ask for the diamond back? No, I already gave it away, I can't do that.'

Rolling her eyes, Naomi said to her mother, ''We're not getting married.''

''Why not? You two make a nice couple.'' Kurumi said.

'Couple?' Thought both Naomi and Yato, both of them didn't know why Kurumi was so insistent on putting they together.

But her Dream of seeing Nao-Chan dressed as a bride was just shattered. ''But is it Diamond?''

''Kamiya-san didn't know our customs well and didn't know that giving a dowry to a person's family meant a marriage proposal.'' Naomi replied. ''He gave her the diamond as a gift, not for marriage.'' Naomi said, explaining the misunderstanding.

''...so that was it. You see, my dream couldn't come true so easily, right?'' Kurumi began to get depressed.

Naomi and Yato felt sorry for Kurumi, but neither of them tried to say anything about it so as not to create any more misunderstanding.

''Kurumi-san, I brought several delicious sweets.'' Said Yato, trying to change the subject.

As soon as he said so, he raised his hand with the bag full of sweets he had bought.

''I'll get some for us to serve.'' Said Kurumi returning to his usual cheerfulness.

But both Naomi and Yato knew that this was just a facade.

''I'll change my clothes and be right back.'' Naomi said walking to her room.

Grabbing several plates for the sweets, Yato started taking the sweets together from the meat skewers to help Kurumi-san.

Kurumi who was thinking it would only be a few wouldn't have imagined that the table would be filled with many sweets.

"'Yato-kun, how did you put so much inside this bag?

''By increasing the size inside the bag with space manipulation.'' Said Yato: ''Simple, right?''

''No, it's not.'' Someone else answered him.

It was Naomi who quickly changed her clothes: wearing a large gray coat that reached her knees and underneath the coat she put on pants.

She tied her hair into a low ponytail tied with a black ribbon.

Her pink hair ends at her hips, but in front of her face she has a fringe that ends in the middle of her eyebrows divided into three strands: one falls across her face and the remaining two blend into two longer strands that end at her shoulders.

"Why isn't it?"' Yato said tilting his head.

"I'm sure it's not as simple to manipulate space as you're saying.'' Answered Naomi .

''Oh! I get it . Kurumi-San, do you want me to teach you how to manipulate space?'' Commented Yato as if it was simple .

Reaching Yato's side, Naomi patted his head and then she said :

''Don't try to teach my mother anything strange.'' After punching him, Naomi looked at the table that had many different candies, her eyes seemed to glow for a second....

Yato felt nothing as he received that punch from Naomi, looking down and seeing the back of Naomi's neck, it seemed to hit him in a strange way...

Looking quickly away, Yato pulled up a chair and joined them.

He served himself with a dream filled with cream, obviously a dream with cream was the best dessert created by humans.

He finished with everyone there, filling their bellies with desserts and eating several skewers of meat.

...

As night fell, Yato eventually said goodbye to Naomi, Kuniharu and Kurumi ... he picked up Cookie who was exploring the surroundings and they returned home.

Feeding Cookie, Yato took a bath in his spring fountain and lay down and went to sleep in his fancy room.

The next day would be stressful for him in ways he hadn't expected...
