Chapter 8: Rushed

AN: I rushed this chap since I need to help in cooking and preparing for my cousin's birthday. So there might a lot more mistakes than normal. Also, I may or may not be able to update after this. And if I did, it might be later in the middle of the night. Its currently 11:15 am here by the way.

Heaven, Ente Isla,

Inside a meeting room, there are 8 angels, each having a light or silver hair, they were talking amongst each other.

"...by the way, where's Camael?" Asked a man with silver hair and red eyes, wearing a white robe. He also has a golden crown on his head. He gave off an aura of superiority.

He is Metatron, the strongest of the ten Guardian Angels, possessing a power second only to "God" or their leader. He is also the "Guardian Angel" of the Sephira known as Keter.

"Last I heard he went to Earth after Gabriel requested for his help since that idiot still couldn't find the Yesod Fragments." Answered a stoic woman with long silver and red eyes. She was wearing a Valkyrie-like armor with a three feather-like hair decoration.

She is Ratziel, an angel whose strength is only behind that of Zaphkiel and Metatron. She is also the "Guardian Angel" of the Chochmah Sephira.

"Why are we even here? As far as I know, the last time we gathered like this is when "Satan" rebelled and declared war on us. And that was ten thousand years ago." Said a man with short light hair and red eyes.

He is muscular and tall, standing around three meters. Wearing a black tank top and a rather fit military camouflage pants and a black combat boots.

He is Michael, the "Guardian Angel" of Hod Sephira.

"Well, from what I've heard, it seems like the current "Satan", the one Lailah has given the Yesod Fragment to, has returned to the Demon world and cause some....disturbance to say the least." Said a little girl with short light hair and red eyes.

She has a cold look, wearing a plain white sundress and a yellow sandals. She is Haniel, the "Guardian Angel" of the Sephira Netzach.

"Disturbance? Such as?" Questioned a young man who look no older than fifteen. With messy silver hair and dull red eyes. He was wearing a black slacks and black blazers.

He is Raphael, the "Guardian Angel" of the Sephira Tiferet.

"The Demon World undergone a massive transformation. It seems as if it has come back...to life? And the Demonic Force seems to be recovering." Haniel answered.

An arrogant looking female with short hair and red eyes stood up from her seat. She was wearing nothing but a white sports bra and a gray skintight pants, showcasing her impressive figure.

She is Sandalphon, the "Guardian Angel" of Malkuth

"This is pointless." she said with a huffed as she walked away.

"Where are you going, Sandalphon?" asked a skinny man with short white hair and red eyes. He is a wearing a white suit with a red necktie.

He is Zaphkiel, an angel whose power is second only to Metatron, and the "Guardian Angel" of the Sephira Binah.

Sandalphon rolled her eyes, "This meeting is pointless. Why bother with those lowlifes? They are reject, a piece of trash that was thrown away after a failed experiment. They might make a good fodder but that's it. There's nothing special about those scums."

"Do not underestimate them Sandalphon, remember the losses we suffered after "Satan" rebelled." said a man with slicked back silver hair and red eyes, he also had a goatee.

He was wearing a golden trimmed silver armor with a red cape, and holding a golden sword in his hand.

He is Zadkiel, the "Guardian Angel" of Sephira Chesed.

Sandalphon scoffed as she looked at Zadkiel in disdain, "Please. Don't tell me you're still thinking about that war? Get over it! Its been 10 thousand years! Satan is dead, and Lailah can only run away and hide like a rat! We are much stronger than before! Metatron, Zaphkiel, and Ratziel has already "Ascended" and the boss can already match some Sephira! We have nothing to be afraid of!"

After saying that, she left the room with an annoyed look.

Right after she left, the other angels also started to leave one by one.

"Tch. What a waste of time."

"Yeah, Next time call us only if its really an emergency."

They all agreed with Sandalphon, Demon World is nothing to be afraid of.

Back in the Demon World...

"My liege! What happened?!" Ashiya flew back after seeing the changes that happened in the world.

Alex remained silent as he just looked at the blue moon. '...So they haven't felt the Ascension of Emi and the others? That's strange. That Youkai I killed managed to feel it, so how come they didn't?'

"Why are you back so soon dude?" Lucifer smiled as he looked at Ashiya. "Are you done relieving your stress?"

"Lucifer!" Ashiya glared at the fallen angel as his demonic force leak out of his body. "Say that one more time I will rip your body to shreds!"

"Pfft!" Nonko covered her mouth as she tried to suppress her laughter. Its not everyday you get to see a calm and compose Ashiya suddenly losing his composure.

"Damn, seeing Lucifer doing this is a change. Usually he is the one getting bullied." Said Genshiro with a grin.

"Oh, don't count on it yet." Cerberus grinned, "I still have some "dirt" on Lucifer, like that time when he—"

"Shut up!" Lucifer blushed in embarrassment. That's something he wanted to forget!

Alex smiled, remembering that time that Lucifer did that. The entire castle has never been filled with laughter that day.

"Papa! Mama!"

He was broken out of his own thoughts when he heard the call of his daughter. Turning his gaze from the moon, he smiled when he saw Jude walking out of the tree, holding Alice in her arms.

Emi smiled as she took the little girl from Judecca after giving her a smile and an appreciative nod.

Judecca just gave her a small smile before returning to a pendant and wrapped herself in Alex's neck.

'Thank you, Jude.' Alex smiled and caressed the pendant.

{Anytime, my master}

Ophis tugged the hem of Alex's shirt as Alex looked at her with a smile. Ophis pointed at the tree, "...Can..I..stay..here...?"

Alex nodded, "Yeah, but like I said, it isn't free. You need to guard my world, keep it safe from invaders and the like."

"Um." She nodded before slowly floated towards the tree. Possibly try to fuse herself to the world to keep herself from dying.

Since technically, once the Tree of Life died, the Sephira will follow also. As for how Ophis survive, it might be because of what kind of Sephira she is.

Hod is described as being a force that breaks down energy into different, distinguishable forms, so perhaps she preserved herself by turning her own energy into her life force.

Once she has fused with the world, she will also be able to gain access to the endless energy of the Demon World. And of course, Alex has made some precautions just in case the Sephira tried to betray him.

Ophis knew this, she knew that her entire being is on the line, that if she even as much as thought of betraying Alex, she will cease to exist. But she said nothing, because she wasn't really planning on it.

After all, she only wanted to have a place to live and spend her time in silence. She wasn't one for silly things such as fighting and the like.

'Well, since she can convert energy, I wonder if she can covert Demonic Force into Latent Force and then give it to Cerberus and the others? I remember that after having gained access to a small amount of Latent Force, Sadao completely wrecked the First Generation Angel like Camael along with his troops without much effort.'

Not only that, since Ophis is now fused with the world, she will be able to help Cerberus and the others to Ascend even without getting tied down by a certain aspects.

At that moment, a Hellhound suddenly appeared and whispered something to Cerberus.

Cerberus nodded before waving her hand as the Hellhound nodded before disappearing. Cerberus smiled before she walked towards Alex.

"Milord, the 72 tribes has already been gathered. The Tribe leaders has all been waiting for you in the throne room."

Alex nodded while generals just looked at him in confusion. "Alright, all of you go and head to the throne room, I have something to announce."

The generals looked at each other before nodding and they all disappeared, except for Emi who stayed beside Alex, and Alice who was being carried by Emi.

Alex gave the tree one last look before leaving. Emi followed after him as Cerberus walked behind them.

"Let's teleport directly there." Said Alex as he started to transform in his "Satan" form before grabbing Emi and teleported, followed by Cerberus.

Alex appeared in the throne room, sitting on his throne with Emi, just standing beside him while Alice was sitting on Alex's lap.

The generals were all standing further below them, along with Camio and the other advisors.

The moment Alex appeared, the demons immediately went on one knee and lowered their head.

"Rise."

At his words, the demon started standing up straight, gazing at their king with eyes full of reverence.

How could they not? Not to mention uniting the demon world, they know that it was the king who revived their fallen comrades and family, and he also the one to change the demon world!

If they aren't demons, they would've prostrated themselves and call him god.

"I think this may be a good time for this." Said Alex as he sighed and returned to his human form, confusing the demons, "First, before I gave you your rewards, I want to introduce my family."

Alex smiled and caressed Alice's hair as the little girl closed her eyes and enjoyed her papa's touch, "This girl before you, is my daughter, the Demon World's princess, Alice Gremory...and this lady here beside me, is...."

Alex looked at Emi, who just stared back at him. Alex shrugs before smiling and held her hand, "...she is the mother of my daughter, my queen, the Queen of Demons."

The demons gasp as they observed the little girl and the woman who is obviously an angel due to her silver and purple eyes.

Alice just gave them a light bow and smiled at them before waving her hand, "Hi~! I'm Papa and Mama's daughter!"

A beat later, the demons erupted to cheers. They are worried when the king left to Ente Isla without even leaving an heir, but now, their king came back with a child and even brought them a queen!

Though their child is a little girl, the demons don't really care about that, they respected Satan far too much to care for such silly things like gender.

Alex raised his hand as the demons quieted down. "Well now that's its out of the way, let's begin forming the 72 Demon Households."
