Wounds

Azrael woke up to the feeling of the hares jumping on him. He sat up looking around noticing Flora wasn't inside the cave and he quickly got up walking outside. He relaxed letting out a small breath of relief noticing that she was near the cave. He watched as she ran around while the pups chased after her.

Her smile was bright as she flew up once they were nearby avoiding them again as she flew in the opposite direction. She giggled running again turning to look at the pups catching up. She smiled getting ready to fly but before she could fly up this time, she bumped into Andras. He wrapped himself around her as the wolf pups stopped and Flora laughed before saying, "Alright, Andras you won this round, here."

He loosened himself as she opened up the pocket dimension taking out a steak piece and tossing it into the air, and he slithered away to catch it as she was accidentally pushed by his tail while in midair.

Flora readied herself with a barrier to crash against the wall of ice as Azrael waved a hand creating shadows that caught her barrier before it hit the wall.

"Thanks," she said flying towards him and he sighed asking, "Are you alright?" She nodded as she reached the ground asking, "Yup, did we wake you up?" He shook his head glancing at the hares on the ground and Flora smiled as she picked one up asking, "I guess it's time for a meal, huh?"

She placed the hare down before grabbing a few different veggies from the pocket dimension and placing them on the ground.

She smiled watching them eat while Azrael walked out towards Andras who backed away slowly. "Flora, I'll be taking Andras on another training session, you should rest," he said as he turned towards her, and she nodded watching the two before heading back inside the cave.

She spent most of her time resting then growing the plants and resting. She noticed around the 5th time that it had been many hours since the two left the cave and they still weren't back. Flora frowned as she got up from the bed of ice before walking outside. She noticed the wolf pups were napping near their mother and she glanced around not seeing Andras nearby.

Flora sighed thinking, "Maybe I should check outside the rift." She took off the fur coat placing it over the pups before activating her barrier and flying up. She glanced around the area not a single life in sight, as she turned.

The sky was covered with multiple light sources, but the planet's sun still peeked with its light-yellow hue. Flora looked around at the moons on the right and behind them the other planet that was millions of miles away. She sighed looking at the other side of the planet to check again before returning to the cave.

Flora did that a few more times and on the 6th try she noticed a small figure in the distance. She flew towards it with caution as it became clear she noticed Andras with many marks on his skin as he slithered carrying Azrael on his back. She gasped before flying with him as she healed his wounds, and he slowly regained his strength moving quicker.

"You did great," Flora said as she levitated Azrael off Andras's back and headed inside the cave, she gathered all the flames before examining his body for any wounds, frowning at the large claw mark on his left shoulder. Her powers had become weaker after healing Andras's multiple wounds so she struggled to heal the wound on his shoulder.

Flora held on till the wound was fully healed, yet her tenseness continued as she returned to the plants that were starting to freeze. She clenched using her remaining powers to restore them while the flames kept them warm.

Her body went limp as her eyes closed from exhaustion, she was far too deep in sleep to notice the creatures all gathered around her.
