The prophecy

I look at Will and take out a small, velvet canister. "Look, Will. The prophecy I showed you, it isn't real. That's just a fake prophecy my dad made. I am sorry for lying to you but there was a good reason." Will shakes his head and starts to stand up. "I told you, I am not apart of the prophecy!" Emily grabs his hand and pulls him down, dragging him away from the door. "Will, just listen to Alex!" Will stares at me annoyingly and was for me to carry on. "The prophecy it's about a great downfall... It said that the child of one shall unite with thee, and the downfall will be great the children will save. Please, I know it sounds stupid but I know you have to be in it! We have to keep this downfall from coming and ruining us. Please, Will. He shakes his head and gets up. "I listened... Just don't bring it up again. I am done with the stupid prophecy." I stand up with him and try to show him the canister. "Alex... Please. I am tried. Just stop."

The next morning Will didn't talk to me at all. He just got food ate very little of it and stomped back up to his room as I and Emily waited outside on the porch, waiting for the carriage that was coming for us.

Sighing I look over at the inn's door as it was opening, hoping it was Will. Instead, it was some fat merchant with a gold pouch in his hand. Groaning I look over to Emily and wrap my arms around her. "Emmy...Help me please?" Emily looks back to me and glares. "I am not helping you with your love life! Just go talk to Will. You need to explain to him what's going on. Okay?" I gloomily nod and stand up and head inside.

Climbing the stairs up to Will's room, I wait outside the door trying to decide if I should knock or not. Right as I decide I will the door swings open and out comes Will with a bag of things.

"W-will! Where are you going?" Will pushes past me and starts to walk down the stairs. "Outside to want for the carriage."

Quickly falling him and grab his arm. "Will please! I am sorry for everything, okay? Please just listen to me! I don't want to see you hurt." Will nods. "That's why I am staying here." My mouth falls open and I slowly let go of his arm. "W-what?" Will nods and walks out the door. "I can't go back to the center kingdom. I just can't." Nodding, I grab onto his arm again and pull him close to me, hugging him.

He completely freezes and tries to get out of my hold. "Will...Please don't go. You're the one in the prophecy. If it's true then we need you. The great downfall remember!" Will pushes away from me and holds onto his arm. "Find someone else."
