Chapter 66: The Engagement Party

Drake sighed in defeat, if it was his pass life he would have given Derrek a child as he was an Omega but now that he's a beta a child between them wouldn't be possible and he knows pretty well that at some point Derrek also wants a child of his own. "So what's your answer?"

Drake looked at Derrek's parents. "If I let him have another woman's child will you let him be with me?"

Drake's answer for Clara intrigued. "If you can ensure the continuation of this family's blood line and if you can promise to make my son happy then you can take my word for it." Clara answered.

"Ok then I'll agree to it in the condition that we will do it via surrogacy. No physical contact should be made all process will be handled by professionals. The only thing that Derrek needs to do is to give his sperm to them and find a good woman to carry OUR Child." Drake emphasize the word our to his response.

"Our?" Clara's eye brow raise after hearing it.

"Yes Derrek's child is my child also. Though the child may not come from me but as long as it has parts of Derrek then that child is also mine." Drake said as if he can already see and feel the unborn child that's yet to conceived.

"Very well then." Clara open her arms as if inviting Drake for a hug. "Come give your mother a hug." Drake reluctantly came forward to give the woman the hug she's asking and just like that he was accepted in the family.

"I did welcome you cause Derrek is very stubborn about loving you but the moment you break my son's heart then I will be the one you will have to deal with got it?" Clara whispered to his ear as they hugged. Drake smile, it may seem like a threat but no parents would want their child to get hurt so he didn't take it to heart but instead he thanked the woman for giving birth to Derrek.

"Yes, very clear." Drake respond.

"Call me Mom and call him Dad. About the wedding we will fix it, I need to make sure that things will be perfect in your wedding."

"We-wedding?" Drake stuttered as he said it.

"Yeah, Darling I will make sure to make your wedding grand much grander than the Shun's youngest son. I will make sure that all Derrek's friends mother will envy me that I was able to organize my Son's wedding." The woman laughed like there's no tomorrow.

"Just forgave your mother. You see Derrek's friends have a thing about rush weddings that their parents didn't even know about that's why they don't get a chance to get involved in organizing one and I think the only lucky and envied mother in his circle of friends is Rebecca cause she basically got the chance to organize the weddings of both of her sons and soon will organize one more cause you see the eldest is planning in marrying his wife for the second time." Victor whispered.

Drake just now realized how toxic Derrek's friends love lives are even Zeejay got married without his parents knowledge and the only seemingly perfect is Lee. Well if their relationship go smoothly then theirs too.

Mia couldn't believe the news she's seeing. All those big names are either got involved with a crime and was sent to jail or their companies got bankrupt and all these things happened in less than a few days after their encounter with Theo's husband. She quickly took out her phone and then dialed Pheobe's number.

"Are you seeing the news?" Mia asked.

(Yeah, it was really a shocked. Do you think it's just a coincidence?" Pheobe asked.

"It's too much to be a coincidence and to think that it all happened to the guys involved in the group chat. What kind of man did Theo married himself to?"

(I'm not sure but don't you think he looks familiar and his name sounds familiar?) Pheobe asked.

"Don't tell me he's the real Shun, Teakyun?!" Mia lost the strength on her legs after realizing just how big the man who's protecting Theo.

(What do we do Mia?) Pheobe asked in worry.

"No, he promise not to got us involved so it's going to be ok as long as we shut our mouth then it's ok." Mia assured Pheobe.

"Are you satisfied with the results?" Mr. Jones asked.

"Not quite but this is better than nothing. I know if I do something excessive it will not going to make Theo happy so for now this is enough.... for now."

Mr. Jones ignored the sinister smile playing on his boss's lips and went on to his original purpose why he came to see his boss. "Sir this came in." He handed him a simple card that seems to be an invitation.

Teakyun opened the invitation and read through it. "I wasn't expecting that but it's a good thing that Derrek's mother seems to like his beta. Anyways since the man is my wife's friend I think he will be very much happy to attend the announcement of his engagement though it wasn't mentioned if it really was the beta but I have a guts that's it's him."

"Speaking of the Missus, Sir Theo is on his way here. His body guard and driver informed me earlier that he plans to visit you." Mr. Jones calmly informed Teakyun.

"He didn't told me that." Teakyun whispered.

"This is just my personal opinion but the Missus is going through a tough time and having the his Alpha helps greatly in calming the Omega that is expecting. You have been working really hard I suggest for you to slow things down." The man's words got Teakyun thinking, though he spends time with his wife most of his time is still spend on his work. Teakyun wave his hand indicating for his secretary to go. Minutes later his secretary came in again informing that his wife is already in the building. He instructed everyone to just let his wife get inside his office. Minutes later Theo came in with a big smile on his face as he shows him a big bag of lunch box.

"I want to have lunch with my husband will that be alright?" Theo asked.

"Come here darling." Teakyun said and Theo immidiately run to his husband and sit on his lap and begin preparing the lunch he made. Teakyun who acted like a spoiled child asked Theo to feed him which the Omega gladly do. It's everyday that Teakyun act that cute and that makes Theo very happy, until Teakyun received a message from his secretary and it suddenly changed the expression on his face that immidiately vanished.

"Baby just stay here and continue what you are doing, I'll just going to take a conference call." Teakyun happily said to his wife. Theo who understands how busy Teakyun is got up but Teakyun held back Theo and made him sit on his lap again.

"I thought you said you needed to take a conference call?" Theo was confused. He was trying to give his husband some privacy to do his job.

"Well I can take the call with you here, they are the one who's disturbing my lunch with my lovely pregnant wife aren't they?" Without waiting for his response Teakyun accepted the video conference call and there he saw people on the screen that he doesn't even know except for his father and mother in law's. Most people are surprise to see someone so close to Teakyun, they don't even know who that person is but to those who knew Theo back then the surprise they felt is somewhat frightening cause as far as they know the wife of Teakyun has been long dead for years.

"T-Theo?" Said the other man.

"H-how is that possible?" Said the other.

The surprise written on the older men's face that Theo knew are evident he knew right then that he needs to explain but Teakyun made the explanation for him.

"Well he's alive and well and I think that we all should feel happy about that. To those who don't know him this is Theodore Shun my lovely wife and to those who already know him yes he's alive, well and expecting" Teakyun cut to the chase and proceed with the meeting while constantly he asks for his wife to feed him. Everyone murmur upon hearing it and his parents are so proud that they will be grandparents again for the second time to their eldest son.

All eyes are glued to the screen seeing their President act like a love sick fool. When the conference ended Teakyun gave the invitation to Theo.

"What's this?" Theo asked looking at the envelope.

"It's an invitation from Derrek's mother, there will be held another charity Galla and of course the most important part of the night the announcement of Derrek's fiance. I think it will be Drake though it was not mentioned there but I have the feeling that it will be him." Teakyun looked at Theo. "So do you want to go?"

"Of course I love too, I want to see Drake." Theo said with so much excitement then his happy face suddenly became sad again. "But wouldn't I look weird? My tummy has been growing big these pass days."

Teakyun kissed Theo on top of his head as to assure him, he read this from one of the books about pregnancy that a pregnant person usually more sensitive and offer times feels insecure about their appearance. That's why it is important to received their husbands support and flattery.

"Of course not, how can they time things as that to someone as beautiful as you?" Teakyun said that made Theo blushed.

The days went by so fast and the day of the event arrived. Derrek's mother made sure to invite everyone influential people big business owners, celebrities, politicians and even small business owners that doesn't even have a chance to get invited to such big event was invited. Derrek's mother made sure that it will be one of the biggest wedding announcement ever! Fitting only to her beloved one and only son Derrek.

"Brother!" Lee hugged Teakyun the moment he saw his brother. "Theo." He then greeted his in law.

"Baby I'll just go to the rest room?"

"Ok, get back here as soon you're done Ok, don't make me miss you." Teakyun kiss his cheek before he let Theo go. Theo left to give the two brothers their own private time but Teakyun signed the two guards to follow Theo.

"Aren't you being way too over protective of him? He's just going to the rest room" Lee asked when he noticed just what his brother did.

"Well you'll never know what can happen. Remember when Terrence wife almost got violated for being an Omega inside the rest room?"

"Yeah Terrence almost killed a person back then. I have never seen Terrence get so angry it was scary." Lee shivered at the thought, that was that time when Liam and Chester went to crash in the party without the two Alphas knowledge what their wives are up to.

"Well speak for yourself. You are criticizing me for being over protective when I know you are much worse than I am when it comes to Dexter. Even though Dexter is an Alpha you still protects him way too over. Speaking of Dexter I didn't saw him with you?"

"Well I don't want to play it safe, I don't want to lose him brother. I may sound like a jerk but I don't want to go through the same shit that you guys have been through. If Dexter where to leave me I don't think I will be able to take it, I definitely will going to go insane." Lee looked at the ring on his finger and smile lovingly. "He's my life my everything brother. I never once regretted leaving my Casanova life for him cause he is a thousand more than what I had before."

"After all those years you still look at him with the same loving eyes as the first time you introduce him to us." Teakyun can still remember that time when he introduced Dexter to their parents where they even cause a big scene during the party when Lee released his Pheromones that knocked out most of the guests near by. "It seems like it was just yesterday and yet here you are still standing beside each other with your son." Teakyun laughed bitterly as if a bitter thought suddenly crossed his mind. "I'm the one who got married first and yet you're the one who got a child first. If maybe I didn't waiver, only if I didn't doubt him and if only I love him hard enough then maybe, maybe we would have been surrounded by our children. Children that I didn't even know of."

"Don't think about it what matters know is that you are making things right. You are taking care of Theo and you unborn child. Don't mess it up again." Lee put his hand on his brother's shoulder trying to comfort and give him his support.

"Yeah I know that's why I'm doing everything and anything that I can for him. Anyways I haven't seen Dexter with you." Teakyun asked.

" He's with Aiden, Aiden drag my husband the moment he saw him. Lexter is at Mom and Dad's house we are planning on spending our weekend. Brother about the project I'll reduce the time I spent in the office. Even if I bring my work at home I'll do it. It's just that I can't keep on spending long nights outside. Dexter is becoming more and more anxious about it, specially now that Lexter is here. I'm not asking for your permission I'm just informing you. And you too you can't keep on drowning yourself from work either now that you are about to be a father too." Lee said. "Also once the project is stable I'll be leaving it to the executives, I believe they will be able to handle it from there. Dexter is getting anxious with Alba, I don't want a mere woman to get in between the two of us. I don't want to ruin what I have build and protected for years all because I brush off and ignore all the signs."

Teakyun sigh a little. "Alright then, I have been thinking the same thing. I'm lucky that Theo is adjusting well in our situation and with my work schedule but I just can't take all his understanding for granted. I'm arranging things so we can both move freely without sacrificing our relationship with our wives. Neither do I want to risk my marriage because of this, we still haven't renewed our wedding vows and yet here I am neglecting time with my wife."

"He looks bigger than he's supposed to, have you consulted about that already?" Lee asked, worried about his best friend.

"Yeah the doctor said that he's fine. We didn't asked to see the ultrasound we want it to be a surprise so whenever we visit for his prenatal we only asked if he and the baby are both healthy." Teakyun explained.

Rebecca's eye brow slightly rose when the Mother of Derrek start showing off.

"I only want what's best for my son, I'll make sure to throw the grandest wedding of all." Clara proudly declared.

"Hahaha." Elizabeth can only laugh in what she's hearing and then she silently pulled out his phone to send his son a message pressuring Lance to marry Aiden so she can also help in organizing his son's wedding.

"You know what I'm also planning to throw a grand wedding for my son and Chester once the things calmed down I will make sure to send you guys the invitation." Tiana who hates to lose said.

"I already arranged two weddings for both my sons after all they didn't hide their marriage from us but since Tea plans on re marrying Theo then I'll send you guys a wedding invitation AGAIN!!! Also in my grandson's first birthday party I'll make sure to invite you guys. Now that I'm already a grandma I can't explain the happiness of seeing and taking care of your grandchild." Rebecca emphasize quite a lot of things in what she just said cause in all of them she's the only one who gets to hold and organize her son's wedding, the only one who gets to be there to see her new born grandchild. Although Tiana has always been there for her grandchildren she didn't given the liberty of seeing them while they are still a new born.

"Well I do know that after all I'm a grandmother of 3." But it didn't stop Tiana from revealing her own cards.

"Well I'll be a grandmother of two after a few months. I feel like I'm getting younger, me taking care of the babies again." Rebecca laughed.

"Hahaha my Derrek will sure not fail me but you see my son is not in a hurry." Clara who plans to take back the spotlight said again.

"How can you ladies act like that considering that your sons are all foolish enough to take on partners without breeding." Zeejay's mother said. She doesn't feel like celebrating after all Zeejay is married to a worthless and penniless Omega who doesn't even own an empire nor have a good family background.

"Alessa you see it's not always about the family background and one person's breeding after all we are not dogs to breed our children with another being just so they can produce good offspring. Most of the time it's the person's character, behavior and upbringing is what matters and most importantly his feelings towards my son. If he loves and can take care of my son then I can happily give my son to him." It was Tiana who talked back to Zeejay's mother. She can't take the part that she just belittle her son's friends decision in marriage. Specially if it sounds like it's mocking Chester, Tiana becomes very sensitive.

"Why did it hit you? Cause as far as everyone knows your son's wife is a prostitute, it's just no one would dare to talk this in front of your family afraid that you will pressure them." Tiana gave Alessa a sinister smile.

"Then I hope you know the consequences of bringing that up in front of me Alessa. I don't think Zeejay would mind if I teach his mother a lesson on how to respect someone else's in law's." Everyone shivers after hearing what just Tiana said. It was a clear threat and it has been a long time since they heard the lady make such a threat.

"Come on ladies don't be like this. This is my son's engagement." Clara tried to break the tension that's building.

"By the way don't you want to introduce us in advance that lucky person?" Rebecca asked trying to change the topic.

"Later ladies, it won't be as thrilling as it should be if I reveal it now." Clara said.

"Knowing you I know she surely came from a very wealthy and prestige family." Adrian's mother said, who is also known to be as sophisticated as she is.

"To be honest he's not a woman nor an Alpha. He didn't came from a wealthy family too but my son loves him." Clara said, every eyes are on her like they could not believe what they are hearing. She's known to be meticulous and strict when it comes to her only son so it came as a surprise when she told them about the mysterious person.

"What's wrong with your sons ending up with people outside our family circle?" Ariana Adrian's mother could no longer take it. She's glad enough that her son is nothing like that although he has been gone for a while now but she's hoping to see her son in the event and she's sure of it cause it is the engagement of his friend.

"Don't speak like that Rian you might never know maybe your son will end up with someone the same as the kind of people you despise so much." Elizabeth jokingly warned her friend.

"No of course not. My Adrian won't do that." Ariana said.

Rebecca smirked at her. "You'll never will truly know, those boys are playful."

"Yeah you'll just find out that you are already a grandmother of a child that's already 2 years old."

"Aside from grandchildren you'll just going to find out that he also manage to get himself married without you knowing." Ariana gulped.

"P-please excuse me I need to find where my son is." Ariana tried to excuse herself together with Alessa.

"You are trying to scare her." Clara commented.

"Hey I thought you will also be like them, so why didn't you objected?" Rebecca asked.

"Well seeing the determination in my son's eyes I knew right there and then that I won't be able to change his mind and if I objected against his relationship with him I'm sure that he will leave us to be with him. I don't want to be left behind and in the dark with regards to my son's life. I don't want to wake up one day only to know he got himself married and build a family without me in the pictures. I finally understand why you ladies didn't even tried to interfere with your sons." Clara explained.

"Well our sons gave us a lovable in laws so theirs nothing to regret in that part." Tiana agreed.

It was Chester first time attending a grand party after returning so everything is new to him not that he goes a lot when he still hasn't lost his memories back then. According to his mother in law he hardly ever goes to any gatherings to the point they didn't even make a formal introduction of him to the public which also explains a lot why the people eyes are glued to him. A lot of faces and eyes that he doesn't know scares him but because Terence was with him somehow put his heart at ease.

"Kitten are you ok?" Terrence whispered.

Chester nod in response, he's too nervous to even speak that he decided to just nod he's afraid that his voice will give him away.

"Don't worry I'm just here with you, also I want you to meet the people that you consider as your family. I'm pretty sure they are also excited to see you. They have been bothering me to see you." Terrence happily said. There is a reason why Terrence delayed the meeting of Chester's friends. People who has been suffering from amnesia often gets anxiety attacks when face to the people that knows them but they can't remember. The pressure they feel is what wrecks them inside causing more damage than cure. That's why in order for Chester not to go into shock Terrence slowly prepares Chester, he slowly introduce the friends he has through the use of photos. He let his wife knows that his friends already knows about his condition and that they understand if he can't remember them. Though it helps Chester a lot to prepare for this moment he still can't help but feel nervous. A lot of things run to his mind, he hates the feeling of disappointment that comes after the expectations and he doesn't want to see it on their faces.

"Terrence!" Lee called, Terrence turn to his side and from a distance he saw the two brothers talking.

"Lee, Teakyun." Terrence greeted the moment he's in front of them. "Where is Dexter and Theo?" Terrence looked around to see where are the spouses of the two brothers hoping he can introduce Chester to the two.

"My Dexy is with Aiden that Omega drag my lovely husband with him. I would have been worried but knowing that Aiden is marked my heart felt suddenly at ease." Lee exaggeratedly said.

"Why do you think Dexter will seduce Aiden?" Terrence asked.

"No of course not!!! It's actually the opposite I know for sure Aiden will surely be the one to seduce my Dexy!!!" Lee almost shouted.

"Who's going to seduce who?" All four head looked to the direction where the voice came from.

"Lance!" All three men said in unison.

"Guys! It has been so long." Lance hugged the brothers and then Terrence and greeted Chester without even touching the tip of his fingers. It's like an unspoken rule in their friendship to never touched their friends significant others or there will be blood.

"Well I'll just leave you guys to talk here, I still need to look for others I know they have been wanting to meet my lovely Kitten." Terrence said, Lance was planning to go with him but Lee held him by his suit's back collar.

"Where do you think you are going?" Lee said to Lance.

It has been a very long time since the last time he had attended any grand gatherings as grand as this and that was the time when Teakyun still takes him to any events but as soon as their relationship turn sour back then Teakyun stoped bringing him but now that they are both back to loving each other Teakyun start inviting him to any socialite gatherings but Theo refused to go for the reason that he fears that it might only exhaust and endanger his baby. He doesn't want to lose any more child than he already has but today is different. If what his husband's guess is correct then the one who will get engage is his friend Drake and he doesn't want to miss it for the world and it's not like he's going to party all night after all the two decided to just stay a night to his husband's parents since it is the nearest though the two haven't told Teakyun's parents yet.

Theo looked left and right trying to find where the rest room is. He has been wondering inside the big mansion if what he thinks is right is one of the mansion owned by Derrek's parents. The mansion is big and surely costs fortunes, it screams wealth and power with it's enormous size. A house that has its own banquet hall. Not that it still surprises Theo cause even his in law's have that sort of mansion too. Good thing Teakyun has no interest in building such enormous houses for him what they have right now is enough. He doesn't need hectares of mansion that can only make those who live inside strangers. He only needs a simple, a little big of a house where they can still see and take part to each other's daily lives. Theo was in awe that he bump into someone, "Ow I'm so sorry." Theo immidiately apologize.

"Theo?" Theo looked at the woman and just like that he feels cold, his heart start to race and his sweat begins to feel cold.

"I'm sorry but I have to go." Theo tried to run away, he never thought he would be able to meet someone he clearly knew. A woman who contributed in wrecking his childhood. Theo was not really worried about himself he was more worried about his husband. He remembers the time when Teakyun suddenly changed the way he looks at him from the living eyes that turn into a gaze of disgust back then he still doesn't knew why but when the truth surface, the reason why he stopped bringing him to any gatherings back then was because his dirty past might stain Teakyun's reputation. Now he gets why his husband did it, even him is disgusted by the thought of it, his own past still disgusts him. He tried to run as far as he can away from the woman. He fears for her to know who he's with, he doesn't want to soil Teakyun's reputation. As he runs away tears forms inside his eyes that blurs his sight. He already lost the two of his guards that he completely forgotten. He thought that it was already ok after all these years. He thought that his past won't be able to caught up to where he is, that's the real reason why his family needed to moved from one country to another but he never knew someone from his past that he wanted to forget so much will be able to find him. He was running and running and running till he bumped into someone.

Theo looked at the suit stained with the tinted color of red because of the liquor that suddenly got poured into him. "I I.... I'm so... sorry." Theo said.

"Who let him in?" One of the men in that area asked.

"Do you know him?" One of the ladies asked the other lady, while the other ladies are trying to dry the suit that has been stained.

Theo looked at the sophisticated man, from the looks of it and base from how the people around that man treated him it seems as if that man is a big shot. Theo watch the man raise his hand to stop the ladies before he speak.

"It's ok it's just a little wine." He then shifted his gaze from Theo. "It's ok, are you not hurt? You should be more careful from the looks of it I think you are pregnant. Pregnant people should not be running." The man gently said.

Theo bow a little and apologize again.

"Is your partner one of the servants here?" The man asked again. Then a familiar face suddenly came to asked the man, Theo's heart suddenly race when the man called the man in front of him brother and then shipped to look at him and say. "Theodore?"

Theo is reluctant to answer at first though the man never abused him sexually he's still contributed in the bullying. Even though he can't clearly remember everyone involved he sure knows who the younger brother is, he can clearly remembers him as he was the one who leads in drowning him in the toilet, fills his seats with trash and constantly calls him trash and dirty , for the first time he doesn't want to admit being Teakyun's spouse. A lot of things run to his mind, he suddenly became more conscious to the possibility of people from his past that he can meet to any socialite gatherings. He doesn't want to taint Teakyun's reputation. So Theo made up his mind he quietly nods.

"I see so you ended up getting knocked up by a servant? Just how low can you get? You still haven't changed one bit" The younger brother said.

"Patrick that's enough." The older brother's voice suddenly raise.

"But brother, it's fitting him. Did you know he's know as the university slut back then? He lets all the guys who wants to fuck him fuck him!"

"Patrick enough! We are not here to insult one of the servants partner. We are here to build good image and relationships to tycoons and big people."

"But brother aren't we big ourselves? Our business is doing great! We don't need these people!" Theo just stand there quietly.

"Act your age Patrick don't disgrace me and you go to your partner don't wonder off here. My name is Jay if you need some help call me here." The man gave him his calling card and was about to leave when Theo spoke.

"He's not just a partner he's my husband." Theo spoke.

"So someone married a slut like you?" Patrick asked.

Theo wanted to shout yes but his mind is saying no. Then suddenly all music stopped and someone spoke on the microphone.

(I'm sorry to cut everyone's great time but you see my friend's wife suddenly got lost and his husband is already going crazy here. So before he sent the Police and military to search the whole area in finding him. I will have to ask your cooperation.) It was Derrek the star of the night who spoke.

Theo watch it on the big screen and there Teakyun stepped on the platform and took the microphone from Derrek.

(My name is Shun, Teakyun.) Theo can here people start murmuring and then he over heard Patrick asking his brother.

"Is he someone big?"

"Patrick you have no idea how big that man is, if he wanted to he could crash our company over night." Patrick's brother explained.

"What kind of wife does he have? If I have that look and wealth I won't settle I will surely have not just one wife!" Theo thought how jerk that Patrick is.

(As you heard my friend, my guards lost my wife. My Baby is not used to this kind of gatherings so I'm pretty much worried about him.)

The shocked to those who didn't know we're evident.

(My wife's name is Theo, Theodore. He's almost in his 5th month of pregnancy. Baby if you're hearing this please call me, I have been worried sick about you.) Teakyun continued to say.

Theodore looked at the bag he's carrying but it seems he dropped it off somewhere.

"You and his wife has the same name, are you perhaps who he's looking for?" Jay asked.

"Come on brother don't joke around that man and him?"

(I will be waiting for five minutes for your call if I received nothing. Then I'll assume something bad had happened and will take matters to my hands.) Teakyun said with finality. He can see the love, sadness and most of all worry in Teakyun's eyes. He may appear calm and compose but he can see the storm raging inside him and that what's breaking Theo's heart. He knew the moment he calls his identity will be exposed to the people he was trying himself to but then he remembers the talk he and Teakyun made. How Teakyun repeatedly said that he's not ashamed of him that he's not dirty nor his past will taint him. Teakyun said he wanted to expose and shout to the world about his love for him and right there and then Theo made a decision. Rather than fearing his past he would rather want to face it together with Teakyun cause that's what marriage is all about — being together through thick and thin.
