Chapter 52 – Another Dimension, Market
The light only appeared for a second before it receded back to the door that showed a strange blue spiral on the other side, like a portal.
In that mere second, however, everyone in Kyoto screamed.
People who had never assimilated with the Devil and had never experienced knowledge transfer screamed in pain. The light carried knowledge on how to enter the Shops, and everyone, without any exception, could enter.
Atsuku and Misaki stood still; the latter looked a bit confused.
"That's… new." She muttered, turning to her brother. "Is that truly the way to enter the Shops?"
"Why were you asking me?" He asked back, "I had never entered Gateway either. I just read it from the record."
"Useless." She spat out of annoyance. "Still… should we go now?"
"Wait a minute," He said, taking out his phone from the Kimono's inner pocket. He typed a message to Rio and put his phone back. "Let's go. We're going to gate 20." He nodded.
"Alright."
