The Depraved Hero
WPC August 2023 Winner novel! [You have finished your duty, John.] "Duty? I should've let this world get destroyed sooner!" Fantasia was destroyed. His novel world crumbling because of him. John, the Depraved Hero, lamented as he looked at the cracking sky. With the end of the world, he was transferred back to Earth as Fujiwara Atsuku. Chapter 50 – Sorting, Dismantling
After watching the sky for a while, Atsuku searched his pockets to find his phone. He hoped that it survived that fight and was still in good condition.
Fortunately, it was hidden in his shirt pocket and was still in a working condition. He immediately turned it on and called Rio. The call connected almost immediately.
(Heya, Atsuku!)
Hearing the voice of the girl he currently loved put a smile on his face. It made him realize one thing.
'I've softened considerably.'
Not that it was terrible. Instead, he was glad that his emotion returned to him, even for just a bit.
"Yo, Rio. Do you mind talking a little? I want to tell you about what happened just now."
(Sure! I am quite free right now.)
Atsuku told Rio about what had happened, including his fight against the Winter Wyrm and the damage dealt to Kyoto.
