Chapter 48 – Trap, Winter Wyrm
Using Flame Control, Atsuku burned the snow before it hit him. His survival instinct immediately screamed at him, and he jumped up, using Wind Control to boost his height further. And his instinct to dodge was proved to be correct.
Swoosh!
A silver shadow swept the place Atsuku stood before. The ground and snow scooped out like an ice cream. Fortunately, the hill of snow Misaki's subordinates prepared wasn't that affected; only some of the content hidden inside was spilled out.
When Atsuku was in the sky, he managed to get a clear view of the monster's full body. Winter Wyrm stood with its four short limbs beside the snow hill where Atsuku was earlier.
The shadow that swept the previous place earlier was Winter Wyrm's tail. That was enough to destroy a part of the mountain and uproot trees.
Their gazes met. A grin crept onto Atsuku's face as the monster roared to assert its dominance.
"Grrrr! ROAAARRRR!!!"
