Why?:

“Hey, do you like him?"

*COUGH! COUGH! COUGH!!!*

Adhira coughed violently. Originally, she was drinking the water as she was feeling thirsty and that was when Advik asked her this ridiculous question. She did not know whether to laugh after seeing his excited eyes or to cry after hearing his ridiculous words.

Seeing Adhira cough so loudly Advik patted her back, “Hey calm down calm down…”. After a pause, “Are you ok now?”. “Yes I am.”, replied Adhira after recovering for a few minutes. Then after taking a deep breath, she asked him while gritting her teeth, “Why the hell do you think I like him?”.

Advik blinked his eyes innocently and asked, “Why? Don’t you?”. Adhira took another deep breath and asked, “What makes you think like that?”.

“Well, you see you have been defending him although you could have blamed him for all these things. But you didn’t. You even have trust in him without actually knowing what the truth is. Moreover, I think he also has some feelings for you- ”.

“Stop!”, Adhira showed him her palm. “Stop now! And get these things out of your head. Me? And liking Aditya Singh Thakur? Have you gone mad? Yeah it’s true I don’t blame him for all these things because I know he can never stoop so low to actually plot something like this about me. So don’t think about all these stupid things and focus on the FOOD.”, Adhira said, trying to change the topic.

And she successfully did it. Because-

“You really like food, don’t you?”, said Advik.

Adhira with her brightened eyes replied, “Of course I do. After all, it can give you the best comfort which you will never get from any person no matter how close they are to you.” She added after a pause, “Offf! Let’s continue to eat.”, and started digging in.

Seeing Adhira eating without holding herself back, Advik started to eat too.

On the other side:

After Adhira left the classroom, the whole class was still in an eerie silence. After a good five minutes the professor finally recovered from his shock followed by the students present in the class. But that recovery did not last for very long as Aditya came inside the classroom and not only him, but he was also followed by Hritik as well as Balraj. The girl who was actually trying to bully Adhira saw him and quickly got up from the ground.

As she was getting up she was helped by her lackey. Hardly did she get up then she stormed towards Aditya and said in a somewhat coquettish voice, which was completely different from her earlier self. “Adi, did you see how she misbehaved with me?”. Tears were filled in her eyes till the brim just waiting to fall after hearing a comforting word from him so that she could make herself look more pitiful.

But instead of all the things, she met the cold eyes of Aditya making a shiver run down her spine. Aditya did not say anything, just roamed his eyes around the classroom. While he was doing so, no one even dared to breathe loudly rather say anything. Even the professor was looking nervous. And why won’t he after all Aditya was from the Thakur family, a family which was respected as well as feared by everyone.

Aditya roamed his eyes around the classroom before finally laying his eyes on the girl, who bullied our little princess Adhira. As soon as he laid his eyes on that girl his eyes turned a few shades darker, he gave off a strong aura making people unable to breath. And finally he uttered a word, “Why?”.
