Crisanto made Beatrice got on his bike at the front of it, since Crisanto mostly ride a bike when going to school. He pedaled towards the riverbank that Beatrice liked to go when she needed some time to be alone or just want to relax.

When they arrived, Beatrice got off of the bike and run to the spot where she usually be sitting, Crisanto look at Beatrice with a warm smile.

'She looked so innocent and carefree, but yet, at the same time dangerous to mess with. I can clearly see that she was hiding something dark behind those innocent eyes of hers that see was showing to everyone.' He thought as he looked at Beatrice who was now feeling the breeze .

'I want to help her, I really am, because behind someone's smile is a hurting heart, and the person who makes other's happy and give motivation is the one falling apart. She's like someone I know but I was so blind to see what is coming in that day, because after that friend of mine told me her burdens, she committed suicide. I don't want that incident to repeat again, since I still have a chance of saving Beatrice before it's too late.'

"Crisanto!!" Beatrice called, waving at him to come over and sit beside her.

Crisanto chuckled and went towards her and sat on the grassy ground next to Beatrice. The both of them look at the calming water of the river.

Crisanto opened his lnchbox and started to eat, as he finished ir, he look at Beatrice who still hadn't touched her food making him furrow his brows and sighed.

He grabbed the lunchbox that he give to Beatrice without her knowing. Crisanto opened it and it revealed a Japanese food since he heard the some of the students gossiped that Beatrice like Japanese food and anime, so he cooked the Japanese food that he know and bought a chopstick just for her.

He opened the lunchbox and used the chopsticks to grab the food that is inside in the lunchbox which is a Japanese sushi and shoved it into Beatrice mouth, making her look at him while chewing it with a frown. "What was that for?" She asked him.

"Well... You have to eat since it's not healthy for you to skip lunch. Just look at yourself, your so skinny, you look like you haven't been eating anything for days!" Crisanto exclaimed. Beatrice swallowed the sushi that Crisanto shoved into her mouth and snatched the food from him.

'That's because I didn't eat anything.' She thought and look at the food. 'I wonder who cooked this sushi... It's really delicious.' She also snatched the chopsticks from Crisanto and started eating the food.

Crisanto smiled at the reaction he got from Beatrice. 'I guess she liked it.' He thought in happiness.

"Hey Crisanto?" Beatrice called after she finished the food. "Hm? What is it? " Crisanto asked her in wonder.

"Have you ever lose someone?" She questioned with sadness in her tone. Crisanto was silent for a while and nod. "Yes I have."

Beatrice was surprised that someone like Crisanto lost someone, but her outside expression remained calm and neutral.

"When I received the news, I was so devastated that the person I cared about died." Crisanto continued, Beatrice was interested of his story so she asked.

"What was their name? How did they died?... Oh my god!! I'm sorry to intrude in your own personal life!" She exclaimed in panic, making Crisanto chuckled.

"It's fine, I already got over it. My friend is a girl, and her name is Sofia, she died because of suicide. She took her own life after she told me her problems. When I heard what happened that time, I don't know what to feel, I felt anger, sadness, grief, and disappointment of myself because I couldn't save her. I throw all of my anger to her parents that she died because of them, even though I don't know what is causing her to do it after she told me, since she told me that she is tired of hearing her parents fight everyday and command her to be perfect, forcing her to not be the person she really is, so that's why I blamed her death to her parents." Crisanto stated, Beatrice frowned and look at him.

"How did you manage to cope up from all of that?" She questioned him, Crisanto look at Beatrice and smiled. "I learned that staying from the past will just get me into nowhere. So instead of being in grief and depressed, I treasured the happy memories of us together and use it as a motivation instead. Even though it was hurtful to know that she was dead." He replied to her.

'Not to dwell into the past huh?' She closed her eyes for a second and smiled slightly. "Might as well reveal some of my past... " Beatrice said all of a sudden, making Crisanto look at her in surprise.

"But- you can't just reveal something personal if you don't want to Beatrice!" Crisanto exclaimed as he waved his hands. Beatrice look at him with a calm face.

"It's kind of unfair you know. You shared your past and I didn't share mine, so it's better if I also share some of mine to you right? And it's the start of getting to know each other as a friend." Beatrice responded to him.

"I guess your right about that." Crisanto sighed in defeat making Beatrice giggle. "But it doesn't mean that you easily trust anyone with your personal past!" He scolded her,, causing her to look away with a pout.

"I don't know why am I going to tell you this too, but I felt like it's the right choice to do so." Beatrice admitted making Crisanto smiled at her softly. "It feels like, there's something is telling me to trust you for it. But I still won't tell you the whole of my past since I just currently meet you, and I don't know what's your real personality is like." She finished while looking at him. Crisanto saw a little flicker of light in Beatrice eyes but he ignored it and thought that he was only seeing things.
