The Journey To Becoming Strong Begins

"What the hell was that" Rodger said in a half awestruck and half terrified tone.

"It was probably an angel and a demon fighting each other, I could be wrong though" Aron said nonchalantly. Aron figured that there would be no point in panicking, the situation was already over. He knew there was something more to this world as soon as he received his leveling system. Seeing the fight surprised him a little bit, but he figured he would see something like this sooner or later. He was however curious as to where the demon ended up going.

"Well yeah! But what are they doing here!" Rodger remained in a panicked condition for a good twenty minutes before finally returning to the land of the living.

"You good?" Aron asked in a serious manner after seeing the tension in Rodger's face release slightly.

"Yeah, I will be okay." Rodger seems a lot nicer when he is panicked, if only he was always like this all the time. Aron thought to himself.

The landscape looked identical to how it looked prior to the fight, almost like the fight never happened. The crater where the angel landed was completely covered up and replaced with fresh grass. If Aron hadn't physically seen the fight go down, he would question it himself.

Rodger passes out and leaves Karen, Sandra and me awake. Karen sighs and admits to her bewildered children sitting in the back

"You guys weren't meant to see that until later, but now that you have I don't have the power to do anything about it. So, I am just going to come out and say it. My name is actually Jira and our world is under attack, the angels have threatened to take over hell and claim 2 of the 4 spirit realms. We are currently on a spirit realm, although it is the weakest one. Then there is the Celestial Kingdom and the Demon Realm. The Celestial Kingdom and the Demon Realm have always been around the same in terms of power. Recently the Celestial Kingdom has begun to expand its territory, considering that the realm we are currently in is a neutral zone they won't try to claim it. But that leaves the Demon Realm susceptible to the angel's attacks, there have always been more angels then demons but we make up for it with familiars. We are usually able to hold them off but the Celestial Being's son named Mikail around your age Aron, has begun take part in war and able to turn the tides of war singlehandedly. We have been able to keep them off for now but they are only growing stronger as time goes on. That's where you two come in, Aron you are the direct descendant of the Demon king, and Sandra you are the direct descendant of the Demon King's brother Taron. You two are the Demon Realm's only hope at this point. We need you to go down to the Demon Realm and train. We need you two to become strong enough to repel the angels and turn the tide back. We estimate around a year of time until we are decimated. We will have Draek the World Ending Dragon help you progress and monitor your growth. If the angel's manage to take over the Demon Realm the amount of power they will gain is immeasurable. Time is wasting, I will take you back to the house. Grab whatever you need and I will bring us down to the Demon Realm."

Karen began to glow a deep crimson red. A few seconds later we were enveloped in the red color and reappeared in the driveway of our house.

"Oh, and I will take care of Rodger just go get your stuff." Jira shooed her kids into the house to grab their things.

Aron felt a feeling of Déjà vu . As soon as he saw the Demon King's Protection in his abilities list, he knew something had to be up. He didn't think that he would be the Demon King's son, he figured that Karen had no reason to. He just witnessed two supposedly nonexistent creatures duke it out fifty feet in front of his face. He opened the door to the house and ran up the stairs to pack his stuff.

Sandra knew she was the daughter of a demon ever since a certain incident when she was little. She had discovered her abilities in secret from a early age, she didn't want anyone to know about it in fear of being an outcast. She was a bit envious of her older brother who was the direct descendant of the Demon king but she liked to think she was stronger than her brother anyway. In her eyes Aron has always been the aggressive, and direct type. Although he came off as stubborn a lot she admired his presence even if he didn't know it. Sandra recalled a memory from her childhood where she was getting picked on by a few neighborhood kids in an alleyway. The kids wanted to steal her bracelet she had received from her brother on her birthday the previous day. The leader of the group had slapped her and shoved her to the ground. Sandra began to cry as she endured the punishment and held her bracelet tightly in her chest.

"WHAT ARE YOU GUYS DOING TO MY SISTER!" Aron had ran around the corner and jump punched one of the lackeys into the wall. The lackey seemed surprised but quickly got up off the wall. The group turned around and looked at Aron with an evil grin. They turned their attention to Aron who was frantically throwing punches indiscriminately. The group surrounded Aron and beat on him until he was bleeding and bruised all over. The group lost their interest and walked away leaving a badly injured Aron and Sandra huddling together in the alleyway a mile away from their house.

"Hey, are you okay Sandra?" Aron said weakly to his sister that he protected with all that he could. "You idiot, I am the one who should be asking you that" Sandra said as she hugged her brother, leaking out tears every once and a while. They continued to hug each other till the sun was almost down and it was getting cold.

The two siblings got up and began to walk back to their house. Aron coughed up blood and fell to his knee. "Hey! You're going to be okay! Hey! Stay with me!" Sandra screamed at her brother with tears streaming down her face making a mess of her cute petite face. Aron passed out for a minute and then woke up noticing that his pain was gone and his wounds were healing at a rapid pace. Aron got up off the ground and said "Yeah, I am fine, don't worry about me!" Sandra looked dumb founded at his sudden recovery. She playfully punched him on his arm and said "Why are you playing around! I seriously thought you were going to die!" As Sandra's punch connected Aron pretended that it opened up a wound on his arm and yelled at the top of his lungs while falling to his knees. Sandra seriously concerned at this point said "What's going on! Are you okay Big Bro?!"

Aron laughed while getting up and said "Gotcha good didn't I?" and flicked Sandra on her forehead playfully with his "injured arm". Aron ran home with Sandra right behind him "I seriously hate you big bro!" Sandra screamed at her brother as Aron just laughed and kept running.

Sandra smiled as she thought of her childhood with Aron just as Aron walked down the stairs with his supplies. "What are you smiling about?" Aron mentioned and observed as Sandra's face turned a deep shade of red. "You thinking about me or something?" Aron laughed at his sisters deep crimson embarrassed condition. "Shut up! go tell mom I will be out in a second!" Sandra quickly redirected her gaze towards her supplies and continued packing. "I really hate that brother of mine" Sandra murmured to herself but her face had a deep smile of appreciation spanning from ear to ear.
