Chapter V
"who are you ?" Eathen asked confused. He's never encounterd a woman of such vibe. All he can sense is beauty , dignity , peace and kindness. "I cant tell you my identity , nor can I let you see me , Its a threat for both me and you" she tells it in a soft voice in a melody. "threat?" chills went through Eathen Is she here to kill him ? is she here to send him back to the training center. "You seemed scared , no don't be scared of me.. I have never met people before other than my master". Eathen's eyes were still closed with her warm fingers, but he wanted to look at her so bad. Is there really a person who exists without looking at other people. "How did you get here" the girl sounded surprised. She took one of her hand off Eathen's face and fixed something that banged eathen's head. She slowly crawled and knelt beside Eathen. "Hi" she said, her mask was hiding her face. She wore a kitsune mask, she really was serious about her identity not getting leaked. she wore a cloak that covered her completely, it was a military green cloak with golden lining and a bow near her neck. Her clock design was majestic. One really odd thing about her was her hair.
"your hair ..." Eathen seemed shocked "its pink". It was silverish pink hair , some of her hair was made to a bun and held together with pins. She touched her hair and asked him "does it look weird".
"did you dye it or something because its so cool" Eathen exclaimed.
"No i .. whats dye ? isnt it something we use for clothes ?" she asked
"No... i mean..whoa is this your natural hair ?" her hair reflected the moonlinght , it was really long and dense. Her hair could touch her knees.
"it is .. i guess , is it weird ?" Eathen couldn't read her expression when she said this. All he knew was he made her upset. her voice seemed hurt.
"it is weird because none of us have hair like yours , since you might be the only girl who has it its beautiful" Eathen smiled after a long time.
"Why were you crying ?" The masked girl asked Eathen.
Eathen explained the whole story from the start till he met her and showed her the book he stole from Landon. "who is mother , who is sister ?" she asked Eathen.
"are you serious ? how do u even call yourself a human being ?" Eathen sounded rude .
"am i supposed to be a human being ?" she sounded deeply hurt and looked like she was about to cry.
"Mother is someone who gave birth to you , shes someone who would love you like no other , and sister is someone who is born along with you, it's someone who you have deep connection with".
"I dont understand anything, but I can understand howmuch they mean to u. I guess your mother is like my master. If i loose my master I'll feel so lonely, alone and sad"
"Mother is pretty much closer than what a master could be. She will love you more ."
"I don't have a mother . Will i not feel the love you felt before?"
"yes .. you cant.. i guess you understand howmuch that shattered me?"
she hugs Eathen without a second thought and placed his head on her chest and said "I'm sorry, I can really see howmuch you have undergone". Eathen felt calm and his heart raced for a few seconds and was able to hear hers rise aswell. Suddernly something started glowing on her leg. Eathen moved his head quickly and saw a dragon symobl which was huge right through her Thighs. "W-what is that?" he asks her. "I have to go" she panicked and started to run. Eathen grabbed her hand and said "wait" she slipped and fell down. "when can we meet again ?, are you injured ?". She took out her hairpins from her hair and gave it to him "This is a promise i make to you , we will meet again, follow the red ribbons tied on the trees , it will lead you outside the forest, now I have to go" she ran away. Eathen's mind cleared out and was able to find some peace and got some clarity. He looked up to the sky , he was ready for a new beginning. He followed the red ribbons tied on the tree. He reached the back entrance of the training center where he found a kid and Annie. "You ..." Annie ran towards Eathen. The whole place has been looking for you. "Annie, we should go and inform Miss. Mille about this" Josh whispered. "No way josh we have to hide him, we don't want to get him killed, that's probably their intention since they fixed Xe-Xe".
"Hey little one" Eathen knelt , "What's your name". The little boy grinned. "My name is Joshuah". His white teeth shimmered.
"Annie , oh there you are" Landon came running and he was shocked to see Eathen. This time Eathen smiled at Landon and Landon smiled back. They shook hands and had a proper introduction session. "Man I'm glad your mentally stable right now, thank god I came right in time that day".
"Actually .. I can't recall what happend that day " Eathen stammerd placing his hand on his hair looking down.
"I was told that there was a magic user who I must save in a particular location by a wise woman named sara, she can see the future and has the gift of seeing the world and the magic relam at the same time. She sensed your presecence and she already knew your sister. Your sister was like a best friend to her. She was traumatized seeing her death in her vision and has shutdown herself from watching the world for a while"
"wait , so my sister already knew about this ?"
"She did, I know your sister personally , she and my brother were best friends you know" Landon looked down.
"You have a brother ?" Eathen asked.
"yea.. I do" landon looked down. "He's no more"
"i'm so sorry". Eathen patted his shoulder trying to console him.
"Annie, Annie , are you here" A girl's voice filled the place.
"time to hide" Annie gave a look and they ran.
