Chapter 396: Abandonment and Exile
Amelia Sanchez hardly slept all night, and Oliver Foster didn't sleep well either. Every time she moved, Oliver would wake up, look at her, and ask if her leg was hurting.
Amelia's leg didn't hurt at all, but to keep Oliver from noticing that her insomnia was due to her overthinking, she had no choice but to claim her leg was sore.
Who would have thought that Oliver would get up a few times to check on her?
This made Amelia feel uneasy.
Originally, every time she lay down, Oliver would lift the covers from her feet and examine her casts.
That made her feel uncomfortable.
After a long, agonising night, Amelia eventually fell asleep in the morning.
But Oliver had to go to work and had an appointment with Harrison Chase in the afternoon.
Out of necessity, Oliver woke Amelia up.
After Amelia had washed up and changed her clothes, she was taken to work by Oliver.
Mother Sanchez watched worriedly as Amelia was taken away, saying, "You just let them leave like that?"
