Unbeknownst to the modern world, the realms of magic have been at war with each other, each vying for dominance. For thirteen years, this power of chaos dwelled within Kai, never manifesting itself until Kai’s anger got the better of him. While being bullied at school, Kai tapped into the power of Chaos on accident. However, a mage hunter sensed Kai’s power and brought him before the Hokage, the headmaster of a magical academy known as the Magesterium. However, as Kai delves into this new world of magic, he quickly learns that chaos is something that might never be controlled. As the world that Kai knew of crumbles around him, he realizes that power and strength are not what make a man, for his own personal abilities are nothing compared to the magical realms that seek to consume him. Family once again

The safe house was not located around towns or little houses rather it was surrounded by the jungle, through the trees flow the warm breeze which makes the surroundings feel cold.

Clouds floating under the bright sun, quiet environment, peaceful place, just that it's far away from the city.

"Let's get going" Hiroshi urged him. They went towards the large gate covering the entrance. Hiroshi picked up a little walkie talkie attached to the wall beside the gate, "C18, it's Hiroshi, open the gate".

A clank started, immediately the gate began to go up with a beeping sound and it stopped with an alarm blaring.

They walked inside, the gate automatically closed itself, and lights lit up in the large hallway. "Why is everything looking like a sci-fi movie" Kai's thought was interrupted when a young man in red kimonos walked up to them.

"If not Mr Hiroshi" The man stretched out for a handshake, his smile was wide.

Hiroshi took his hand, "Well, this is Kai".

The man looked at Kai, "The kid with chaos curse", he smiled, he stretched out his hand to Kai, it became an awkward moment because it took Kai some time to shake the man, "Did he read my earlier thoughts? is that why he is acting this way?" The man wondered.

"Hello sir" Kai mumbled.

The man gave a cheerful smile, "Call me Chang".

"He is one of the best mages we have and he's the one in charge here," Hiroshi said.

Chang shook his head. "Alright, this way, your parents would be waiting to see you" He motioned them to an elevator.

The elevator shut close with a clicking sound, Chang spoke into his walkie-talkie "C32, coming up with the kid and Hiroshi, over". Kai wondered why they say those stuff.

The elevator started moving up at a gradual speed, Kai was looking at the floor count on the dashboard on top of the door of the elevator before him.

56..57..58..59..60.

The elevator stopped, shutting down like a whirring automobile.

The doors opened.

"Kai!" His mother was already standing in the hallway to see him, she rushed to him, "Baby are you alright?", She was all jumpy and at that moment she sobbed silently, she run her hands all over his hair and hugged him.

"Mum am fine", His voice muffled.

His mother released him and kissed his forehead, "Am ok mum" Kai wanted his mum to stop all the petting it was starting to get him embarrassed because of the people around.

Kai looked around, he didn't see his dad, "Where's pa?".

"He will be here soon, let's go inside and sit down" His mother took his hands, Kai looked back at Hiroshi and he nodded.

She led him to a room, "These people have been kind to us since we came here, it's a relaxing place to be if I must say, here, sit down let me get you something to eat" she strolled off to the kitchen.

Kai looked around the room, everything was white, the walls, cushions, table, and ceiling. And they were all furnished.

"Kai my boy". Kai's thoughts were cut through when his father came in, he was all smiling and also happy to see him.

"Hi pa".

"It's so nice to see you, my boy" Kai's dad went to him and ruffled his hair, Kai laughed.

"So how's it been going?" His father asked.

Kai wondered what he meant by that, "Um, I stayed at Hiroshi's place for now".

"Yeah, he told us", His father breathed, he looked at Kai, "Son, I don't care whatever they say is happening to you, what I know is that you're still my boy and nothing will change that".

Kai smiled, "Pa, nothing changed".

"Alright, who's ready for the Kikuchi's pie" His mother walked in with a large plate containing pie.

"Here we are" Kai's dad jolted from the sofa and went straight for the pie. He poked his finger into the pie and tasted it, "Mm, nice".

Kai's mother became red, "Seriously".

Kai looked at them in ecstasy, he was happy to be around his parents again with all their arguments in the old time.

"Kai" His dad called him.

Kai looked at him, the crumbles of the pie were on his lips.

"Botan said something to us about you attending some kind of school, a different one".

Kai exhaled, he took a bite from his pie and nodded.

"What do you think about this school anyway? We don't know if it's safe for you.." His mother whined.

"Mum, am not safe for me or you guys either".

There was total silence in the room, his mother held his hand and looked at him pathetically, "Nothing will happen to you son, what if they're lying about what they think they saw in you".

"You saw it, both of you saw it" Kai looked at them.

His father exhaled, "Yeah, we did". He held his wife to prevent her from crying.

"Mum, Dad, I'll be alright, I trust Hiroshi and Botan, if weren't for them, I supposed not to be here with you guys," Kai noticed some glint of tears in his eyes.

"I believe in you son" His dad held him.

Kai nodded, he hate seeing his parents in that mood.

"Kai, it's about time we go" Hiroshi announced

Kai looked at his parents, he went and hugged them, "I'll come see you guys always". They nodded, his mother was preventing herself from crying.

Kai went to the door, he looked back at his parents and waved at them, he turned to Hiroshi, "Alright".
