Another nightmare

In the dark, middle of nowhere canvassed in thick mist, tall trees were barely seen. It was as if the clouds came down to a human level.

Cracks of twigs were heard as Kai jumped over a log of wood. He was breathing very fast as he kept running, looking back to know if his pursuer was still in pace.

Suddenly a creature appeared behind him which has a form of a human in a black and silver kimono.

Kai saw him, "Crap!, I haven't lost him". He continued to run and his legs were at that point worned out. The mist was excessively thick for him to recognize where he was running to. At that point, his feet went head to head with an enormous base of a tree, he tumbled and fell, however, he continued tumbling, crushing his body on twigs until he was halted when he hit a huge tree.

He winced in torment and looked back checking if he have at last loosed his pursuer. For certain minutes he didn't see anybody, he spat out the sand that entered his mouth and tidied off some which stayed nearby his eyes, he hauled himself up, "Oof", his left lower leg was injured.

He laid his back on the huge tree and was all the while investigating the fog, praying that he had finally lost his pursuer.

Suddenly, he heard twigs crack behind him. He turned forcefully verifying whether somebody was there. He heard the crack of twigs once more but before him, he turned again searching. His heart gripped and was thumping quick.

"Let out the chaos!" The figure jumped towards him from his side holding a katana to strike him.

He awakened, he was at that point used to the dream so he didn't go ballistic like the initial times when the dreams started. He descended from the bed, his head pulsated a bit, and beams of sun rays went through the transparent curtain touching his skin, it was warm and relieving.

Not long he heard the chirping of birds. "Hmm", he pondered when birds moved into his area. He went to the window and raised the curtain. There was a huge tree outside, green and flourished. Flowers in pots were put around it and they have the same crimson red colour.

"Where the heck am I?" Kai trodded out of the room, he strolled into a corridor and saw wooden well-sculped stairs down the passageway. His eyes went to every picture put on the wall, which contains pictures of elderly people perhaps men who matter however he didn't perceive any of them until he came around the last one which closes at the flight of stairs.

"Yatsuhashi Kengyo, a Japanese composer from Kyoto", Kai grinned. His history studies paid off this time around. At the point when he got to the furthest limit of the stairs, he strolled through a twofold entryway which was made of wood. Kai contemplated whether he was in a Japanese grandmaster's house.

Wow".

He was amazed when he walked into another room which seems to be the sitting room, sofas were designed in a U-shaped form but there was space in the middle of them and the middle was a large flat glass table, the television set was mounted before the opened U-shaped arrangement.

He heard a whistling sound of boiling water in a kettle, he followed the direction of the sound to a door which connects it with the sitting room, he walked in and saw Fuji. It was then he remembered last night, he closed his eyes as his head throbbed a little.

"Hi", Kai called but Fuji was quiet. he was sitting on a stool. "Hello..um.. Fuji?".

Fuji still kept quiet, he was looking at something which seems to be his mobile phone.

"What the heck is wrong with this guy?" Kai wondered. He approached him ready to tap him from behind however he saw a little blue light flickering on his ear, Kai looked carefully, "This dumb ass is on-ear pod".

Kai tapped him, "Morning Fuji".

Fuji turned to see who tapped him and it was Kai standing behind him looking like a kid who was drawn out of a bad nightmare.

His face lit up "Ay master Kai".

Kai wondered why Fuji referred to him as master. "Tea or coffee?" Fuji asked as he removed his ear pods.

"Tea will do".

"OK doky" Fuji poured out a hot tea on a ceramic cup and gave it to Kai. "Hot, be careful". Fuji's deep voice was relaxing.

Kai took a spoon from the cutlery set and stirred the tea, it was a familiar tea he knew, "My mum use to make this".

"Mm.. very delicious?" Fuji smiled.

Kai paused a bit, his face got tensed.

Fuji noticed it, "Master Kai what is it?".

"My parents?".

"Oh, they're safe and fine. Well Hiroshi took them to a safe house where they would stay for the moment since your house was destroyed last night".

Kai wondered what must've happened when he passed out, "Did they see me?, We're they freaked out?", His thoughts swerved in his head over and over again.
