"Aaron is gone forever, Serena..." Jared answered in a low and sadest voice he ever spoke from.

"What? How is it even possible?" I said and busted into tears. "He was with us, fighting alongside the villains so bravely all night than how did he even think of something as suicide, I reject to believe this."

"Serena, please control yourself, All of us have decided to meet at Aphrodite's home, Shawn is gonna be there too. You need to be strong for his sake atleast." Jared said fighting up his tears but I wasn't able to fight back my tears. I was crying and crying hoping that this is just a bad dream and it ends up as soon as possible, But it wasn't.

"Jared please take left." I said out of nowhere.

"Sunshine, we need to go to Aphrodite's house" Jared said sweetly trying to console.

"Can you do what you are directed too-" I said in a loud voice.

"Everyone's waiting for us" He said

"Fuck Everyone, please listen to me and take the car that way." I replied

Jared no longer argued with me, he just did what I said. We went to an isolated hill like. As soon as the car stopped, I barged out of the car and screamed at the top of my lungs.

"Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh" & I sat on the ground and cried, cried like I have lost everything, that I had.

"Serena, Serena....." Jared joined me on the ground.

"This isn't the time to be weak, we need to figure out everything now"

"What figure out Jared? What figure out? I'm done with this, I'm done with my life... I no longer have strength or ability to fight or figure things. I'm done." I said breaking down

"Shush, It's fine. It's gonna be alright." Jared said and hugged me.

"Why does such things always happens to me and my love ones. What did I deserve to get all this?"

"Nothing, It's not you fault, stop blaming yourself and stop crying. Even we are sailing through the same boar. Aaron was my friend too but we need to figure thing so that no one from the group ends up doing what he did. You understand?" Jared said putting both the palms on my face.

"Okay now get up" He said and gaved me hand to get up. As we got up, he saw me still sobbing. He looks 2 minutes in my eyes and straight went for a kiss.

Yes a French kiss. I was too numb to react. I didn't move neither did I let it kiss me more nor I pushed him away. That kiss was more like perk than a smooch. Than he hugged me with no expression.

"Let's go" He said, I simply nodded. The rest of the journey went very silently, neither he nor I had confidence to utter a word.

But I knew nothing good was waiting for us at the destination, only our biggest nightmare that we can't escape.
