- Sect Exam Part 2

Everyone went silent and focused their attention on Chin Lie, daring not to insult the elder, they wait for an explanation.

"As you all know, today is the chance to join the Holy Saber Sect that only happens every ten years."

"But I think I shouldn't explain more about the sect so that y'all can get more motivated to pass these tests."

People within the crowd was starting to get restless and can't wait until it starts.

"So, let's start to explain today's exam, there are a total of three tests. I'll be able to explain the first one but not tests number two and three. The first test is about luck, what you'll have to do is to kill a magical beast and get two cores that are above they early rank 1 magical beast. You must complete this task within three days as the time limit."

Everyone was speechless, the first test was already very challenging. I was one of those who were speechless, I had no combat abilities, but I have talents in in the other fields.

As he said this, the five of us gave our letters to Elder Chin, "Good, know we can start the exam."

Suddenly, a huge formation appeared and started teleporting away.

Elder Chin first opened my letter in surprised, "The women, this letter says that she will be Hei Yin's disciple, and with him gaining a disciple, he'll be officially known as an elder."

Chin Lie thought of this and didn't care that much, his other two colleagues went to observe the first test.

"Oh yeah, probably should have told them that they were sent to the Crimson Cold Forest, oh well they already started the test." he decided to shove that thought away for now and continue readying the other letters.

Near the mountain ranges of the Crimson Forest, Yang Fen was trying to figure out where she is until she notices the crimson red colored tree bark.

"Oh we're in the Crimson Cold Forest, now I already have a plan on how to get the two beast cores and that's requires an early rank 2 magical beast."

"Hey Little Frost, can you search for an early rank 2 magical beast. You should be much stronger being middle rank 2 after all."

Little Frost came out of the pendant and started searching. I also didn't decide to slack and try to find one on the ground. I noticed that since I stayed near Little Frost, her aura protected me from most of them.

It took us three hours until we found a cave that was covered in spider webs.

"Ugg, by these webs alone, it is a "Yin Decay Spider". Be careful with this one, it venom may not be strong but it a gender-based venom, if it male they will feel nothing and would not be in any pain and wouldn't be killed but it's a completely different matter with females. Their venom can instantly kill females and female magical beasts take 10 minutes to die."

Nodded in insurance, Little Frost released her aura and we both heard a screech from within the cave.

I immediately trying to widen the distance between the future fight but what I saw next completely caught me by surprised.

A blue spider came out of the cave, it body was blue, and the legs was grey. But its eyes were a disgusting green color, but it wasn't it look that took but what happened next.

The spider was immediately impaled in its thorax by an icicle spike made by Little Frost.

The spider scream out of pain and anger

"Little Frost wait, I need to quickly make the 'Blood Condense' formation."

Little Frost wait patiently while keeping the spider busy, then I quickly made the formation.

"Okay Frost, kill it now."

At the same time, I activated my formation and Little Frost finished off the spider with an icicle spear to its head.

With the spider blood spilled, my formation took effect and started absorbing the blood and condescending it into an orb.

While to formation was going, I decided to let Frost to eat everything except the core, it took one hour but the formation finally finished make the core and it made a middle rank 1 "Yin Spider".

As soon as I touch the second core, a new formation formed under me and took me to a room.

I was a bit worried that someone would see Little Frost, but I noticed that I'm the only one here, so I ask if she can go back into my pendant and rest, and she agreed with that saying that she needs a little bit of time to process the spider meat.
