- Learning about Fen’s Technique

After making her new mother worry for several more hours, she finally believes that this so called fever. Her mother finally decided to relaxed a bit since she no longer saw any symptoms of the "Qi Hexing Disease" anymore. This disease can easily be dispelled from ones body if they are above the Qi Condensation realm, but if you are then it rapidly drains their Qi and their spiritual strength. Yang Fen was only in 5 rank middle of Qi Condensation, which she was very lucky that the disease didn't transfer to the current Yang Fen or she would only have luck to rely on.

"Sweet, can you stay in bed for a little bit longer. I know that you are very eager to go outside after being confined to this bed for two years, but you just recover and it would make me very happy if you wait until tomorrow, pppllleeeaaassseee."

Yang Lu, which is her mother's name, concocted the most unresistible puppy eyes that you have never seen.

Yang Fen caved in because she couldn't handle Yang Lu's eyes. "Alright but, I want a book about magical creatures that are within the Crimson Cold Forest."

The Crimson Cold Forest is a place like many in this world that contains magical beast that has be known to hold incredible wealth and treasures but it's didn't comes for free, out of 10 people that enter the Crimson Cold Forest, only a Quarter of them would come back wounded or unconscious.

Of course Fen did not care about how dangerous the Crimson Forest was but wanted to know more about magical beast that dwell within the forest because, within the memories of the the cultivation technique that she barely looked at, she saw the name of the technique, "Heavens Beast Qi Absorption". Having the two worlds "Heaven" and "Beast" in its name made her curiosity smother any kind of fear within her.

After thinking for a moment Yang Lu replied, "Sure, but as soon as you read those books, do you mind telling me why you have such a peak interest into Magical Beasts."

"Sure, but I will only tell you after I finished the task that I have tomorrow, okay?" Saying this instantly without any hesitation so that her mother doesn't doubt her resolve.

"Alright then, I'll come back with the books then leave the residence so that I can gather food for tonight's dinner to celebrate that you recover."

Two Hours Have Passed

Yang Fen had already retrieved the books that her mother has promised her. She actually learned a lot about the different magical beasts and even some that's not within the Crimson Cold Forest.

"Mmm so they have the same ranking system as us cultivators but a few things are different. One is that even thought theres the early, middle and peak rank but magical beast ranked differently like for example " early rank 1 Twined Horn Rabbit."

While thinking over the things she learned, she remembered about the memory that contains a special cultivation technique. After debating about the pro and cons, she finally decide to go through the memories about the "Heavens Beast Qi Absorption".

"HOLY SHIT"

Fen yelled in a very surprised manner. The maids that was passing by the door immediately checked on Fen and after much reassurance and convincing, she managed to make the maids and butlers to leave and not for them to tell her mother about it.

"This cultivation technique is stronger than I hoped. Basically it allows me to absorb Qi that are within tamed living magical beast and purify the Qi by tenfold and splits the the Qi by giving back 3/4 back to the tamed magical beast and the rest of the Qi is left for her to cultivate with it."

While going over everything about the technique, she realized two things.

"It's seemed thank their is two down sides with this technique, the first is that she needs a tamed magical beasts to get the Qi to purify it and the second is that theirs even more things about this technique within the memory but she can't comprehend it, well not yet."

She was about to rest so she can think later until her mother head butler came in.

"Young Mistress, it's time for dinner so please clean yourself up before you head to the dinning hall."

Then the head butler left her alone, leaving the young mistress eyes widen realizing that she forgot about it completely.

"I FORGOT ABOUT DINNER"
