Sagashira Go's POV

While I'm in a state of panic, and I don't know what to do, the chief suddenly gave me a phone call. I immediately picked it up and answered with a panicked voice.

"What am I gonna do now!? Chief!? I don't want to get demoted! I don't want to!"

"Calm down! I still have a plan, Sagashira! If you can pull this off properly I won't demote you!"

All of a sudden, a ray of hope was given to me. As if I was given a second chance by the gods! A revival!!!

"Listen! The second participant to climb to the platform will be the key to our plan!"

The chief explained it all to me carefully and I'm here listening to every word he says, not even missing a single one.

The plan is to irritate Araragi Hideki, enough that he'll punch someone. Because he committed an act of violence, he will be disqualified.

Araragi Hideki is actually a composed and rational man. Making him emit anger enough to commit violence in normal means with being impossible. We're going to irritate him by cheating... in front of him.

Araragi Hideki's POV

I raised my fists against the representative of Tokimeki and punched him with one of my strongest punches that I've ever pulled in my life. The punch was so powerful that he was sent flying. The other crowd caught him so his head didn't bump into anything.

After I punched that guy, the announcer gave me a very wide grin as if all that happened so far was according to his plans. What the hell? Did I just walk towards their landmine?

I didn't even have a clear mind back then! What I did was surely an act of violence! Now, they have all the reasons in the world to kick me out of this league. This is the worst-case scenario!

"Well, well, Araragi, seems like you can't accept your loss, huh? We don't need guys like you here! Leave, now! Get out of here! Starting today, you're officially disqualified from this league! We're going to make sure that you're name will be removed! Now, leave!"

I just grit my teeth in front of the announcer and just walked away grumpily. I left the whole building, not even fighting back to his argument. I fell to their trap, hook, line, and sinker.

What could I say to the girls now? We were disqualified from the group because I punched some random guy? There's no way they'll forgive me!

Damn it! Since I started this whole Idol thing, this is the heaviest failure I've ever experienced!

"Damn it all to hell!!!"

Sportsmanship!? Pride!? Dignity!? You don't even have those! Damn! Damn! Once again, I lost! To those freaking cheating bastards! I want to get back to them! Every one of them!

The president, Ryota Kaneshiro, that announcer, that Tokimeki representative! I want to get back to them! I want to show them that I won't be fooled again! That I can crush them with my bare hands!

But how!? Is that really far away?! Is revenge really that far away!? Can a normal guy like me reach it at all?! Damn it! I'm tired of this! All of you scamming dirty bastards! I'm sick of it! I'm so sick of it I could vomit!

Why is this happening!? I just want money! Everything's not going my way! Am I really that unlucky!? Looking depressed, I continued to walk to the streets, preparing some kind of excuse for the girls.

She has really long black hair, the essence of Japanese Beauty. Her porcelain skin looks so smooth too and sparkly. Not to mention, she's really cute too. Her school uniform indicates that she's not from our school. But why is this girl talking to me?

"I'm going to repeat, are you giving up?"

Under the raging sunlight, the black-haired beauty asked me this strange question that I don't have any idea how to answer.
